When you're done with that you can go to Target and buy a coffee mug that says "they/them" on it and if you go in the wrong bathroom the store manager is legally required to kill you. So like can we dispense with the notion that queer media representation has any correlation with how things are in the real world for anyone, or that it means literally anything at all?
