When i see TiM's performing "femininity" is always from a product stand point. Dylan Mulvaney, for example, talks about girlhood from his pink apartment, in his expensive clothing, with what he thinks girls get during their childhood because that's what media told them girlhood/womanhood is. And this applies for almost every single famous TiM out there right now.

But what about the other girlhood? What about the poor woman's womanhood?

What about the girlhood of the girl who never had a doll because her parents cannot afford it? what about the woman who doesn't wear make up or nice clothes because she's mother of five and she has no time nor money for it? What about the girls who are busy cooking for their younger siblings, cleaning the house, because they have only one parent and that parent is working their ass off? What about the girl who wear whatever her slightly older male brother/cousin passes down, because the clothing in her family is inherited. What about the girl who never had a pink room because she slept in an orphanage with another 20 children?

Porn constantly has titles like “bitch gets put in her place”, revenge porn is an entire thing, there are countless stories of women being used just for sex. Even trans women have that (admittedly niche) “terfbreaking” fetish that gets passed around, which literally couldn’t be a better example of “wanting to fuck women you hate”

Be okay with rap lyrics that portray women as objects. Be okay with reading the classics by white male authors who didn't shy away from letting the reader know just how much they hated women. Be okay with the use of imagery depicting violence against women for shock value by metal bands. Be okay with the blonde pop star posing like a dog while a man pulls her hair. Be okay with shaving your body hair. Be okay with applying makeup every day. Be okay with using noncancerous chemicals to straighten your hair. Be okay with ads showing half naked women. Be okay with other cultures' traditions such as head coverings, widows who are thrown in their husband's funeral pyre, female genital mutilation, forced marriages. Be okay with biological males dressing up as a caricature of women and stepping into your spaces. Be okay with language changes such as "chestfeeding" and "people who menstruate". Be okay with having to reconsider calling yourself a lesbian if you're not attracted to trans women and are repulsed by dick. Be okay with unlearning your "genital preference". Be okay with being strangled and beaten by your partner during sex. Be okay with being called a bitch, as it is not a slur. Be okay with the existence of an industry dedicated solely to the sexual exploitation of vulnerable women. Be okay with games from the point of view of a rapist. Be okay with children having access to videos showing women being raped. Be okay with protecting your rapist's career by not coming forward with an accusation. Be okay with the statistics that show your male partner is the person most likely to rape and/or kill you. Be okay with doctors dismissing your health issues. Be okay with your contributions being erased from history and your work being stolen by mediocre men.

The price of men's comfort is women's discomfort. We're supposed to stomach this discomfort all the time, no matter what. And for what? So that men can get to continue living in a system that benefits them and them alone?

If that were actually true we would have thousand upon thousands if not millions of cases of women using ai to try and frame men for crimes they didn’t commit. but we don’t have that.

This is the reality of sexism: it does not matter if a man, individually, is a good or bad man. All men benefit from women being oppressed.

A few sexist men refusing to hire women still means more jobs for men--even if none of those hired men are sexist themselves.

A few violent men scaring women off the streets or out of certain scenes means those places still become male dominated--even if most of the men in those places aren't violent.

A few sexist men denying women financial freedom still means that all men end up holding more societal and financial power.

i read an awful story the other day about a transman who almost died after being TWICE denied a kidney transplant my medical professional's becaue the doctor's treating the transman were using the male benchmark for whether a transplant was required. This transman knew what the care they needed for their body was, but the doctors kept saying their kidney function wasn't bad enough on the male scale and by the time their kidney function FINALLY dropped below the male benchmark they'd lost like 40 pounds....

Vaginas are amazing! They would also make egregious amounts of pornography about them raping gay men or straight women and scream that they should love their boy pussy or whatever. Would be trying to trap or bait het women/gay men into dating them and how they just hadn’t tried the right pussy yet. Saying they are just like a man if not better
