The most recent Android update making it impossible to actually disable any AI features no matter what you do is surely a sign that this technology is the future and about to take off and make everyone SOOOOO much money that all the nay-sayers will be sobbing about how they were fools who should have listened and invested. I love how they keep switching where the edit with AI button is when you take a screenshot or copy paste text or enter any submenu to open my emojis so I keep accidentally tapping it and having to cancel out of the MASSIVE notification that takes up 2/3rds my fucking screen shouting "go to settings to enable AI!!! Enable it, because as you can see it's so fucking useful and not just a massive nuisance!!!!!" 50 times a day this sure is the technology of the future!!! It's so useful and inevitable that's why we have to fuck with you until you accidentally use it!!!!! I LOVE IT HERE!!!!

I also still cannot make the now brief go away and I keep accidentally tapping it too and I want to scream, and this shit die faster for the love of god????

robots require very frequent breaks! welding machines generally have it programmed in that they can’t run so long they melt themselves. ive overseen two different manufacturing robots now and each of them were fragile, finicky idiots that require constant maintenance and repair. they pause in between moves, in between jobs. you’re always keeping an eye on programming errors, on coolant levels, on heat. you’re always pulling bits of scrap out of joints, sweeping up debris, washing off nozzles and untangling hoses. and even then it snaps a chain and takes a whole morning’s vacation.
