Some Weird&Cute Shit

He doesn't know why he does that- he's always just shut up and wallowed in silence when he was a sparkling at the carequarters. It's just something he got used to doing, he didn't have friends back then.

But then Bulkhead and the others came along and it became a problem. He always avoided them when that happened but once they got to earth things got complicated- sure there wasn't as nearly traumatic events as there were back at boot camp (at first) but then the bad things started to happen-

I guess the first time he really went mute was after his and Prowl's camping trip- ever since he got out of the barnacle's control he's been quiet. Prowl was thinking Bee must be ignoring him… but even 2 days after they returned he still hasn't said a word. Only send messages to signal he's heading out… even when Prowl faced him and asked him if he's really okay Bee couldn't get a sound out and just left him standing there, feeling guilty thinking it was his fault.

Sari was the first to act, she had deaf/mute kids at her school so she introduced Bee to ASL- it took a bit of practice but he got a hang of it and could tell her what's wrong. Bulkhead also learned it and helped out his buddy to become vocal again.

I would expect Team Prime has picked up of Bee's uncharacteristic silence, defo saw Bee move his servos to Bulk so he can translate. Then they learned ASL too, both cuz it's good to understand each other without words when in need of silence but also to know what those who can't speak/hear wanna say.

It's most often that Bee will use it when he's not holding up great- his other major times when he's been mute were when Sari almost killed him (twice), he went silent for a whole week with that one. Other times he's been mute for a day or two, depending on how much someone bullied him that day.

I remember seeing one of your posts that you were running out of pet/companion characters to be the owners of the cybugs. You probably already thought this, but maybe you can have some of the human allies from the G1 Transformers cartoon be owners!

I can totally see Chip Chase keeping some of the science bots like Perceptor, Wheeljack, Brainstorm, and Nautica, maybe even Shockwave!

Spike obviously has Bumblebee, maybe even Cliffjumper and Hound? (You can't just have one cybug! They might get lonely!)

I can also see Carly having a little colony of Femmes. ie, Arcee, Elita One, Chromia, Velocity, etc.

And Sparkplug might keep some of the old Bots like Optimus, Kup, and Ironhide.

I imagine Sparkplug having his cybugs since he was a teenager, and later on introducing them to Spike, and getting him one once he was old enough (cybugs seem to be really high-maintenance pets, and I can't imagine giving one to a really young kid to keep as a pet. So Spike probably helped his dad take care of his bugs until he was old enough to get his own) and then Spike meeting Chip, Carly and the others through the cybug community!

(as you can see, I thought a lot about this. lol)

ahfjfbj i appreciate all the effort you put into this- thank you very much !! i have thought abt havin some of the various humans across tf media keep cybugs, but i eventually decided against it because its a way to limit how big my "cast" gets (more characters = more to juggle/draw) because i love far too many characters and will just keep adding to my roster if i dont have a way to limit it lol.

some other people have drawn/implied other human characters in the past which i think are SUPER cool, but any that i draw (like the omega supreme with sari that i just posted LMAO) are dubiously canon/just for fun ^^
