To add to this: Deadlock absolutely had several meltdowns before emergence that the sparklings were malformed/damaged/mutated strictly because of his past actions

So seeing them healthy and perfect made him extra protective and proud, possessive over them

They bond HARD to Deadlock initially, for reasons in the plot, but Ratchet is fine with it. He isn’t that great or patient with young bittys so Deadlock being the stay at home parent suits him fine

Strika is the best sire out of the Decepticons hands down. Yes, there is the dilemma of pushing out that thang, but during the pregnancy process she is attentive and makes sure her carrier’s health is doing good. Once the baby comes out? She’s an incredibly attentive and caring sire, even if she seems gruff her children feel comfortable coming to her for help and she is very proud of her offspring. With her, you also get the bonus of sire 2 lugnut (and sire 3 obsidian if you are like me and believe she should get everything she wants—including two husbands). And while Strika cares for the cause, unlike lugs she’a got a bit more of a nature for pushback and questioning, so if megs has orders regard her offspring? She’ll likely be keeping them very safe due to her position.

10/10 gal to get impregnated by, no contest.

Thank you for seeing my vision. She's such a competent sire - especially since she's willing to stand up to Megatron in regards to her kids. I love her and the 2 extra sires she brings into it. Although, only 1 of member of this trio is truly competent (sorry Lugnut/Obsidian - Strika wins by a mile)

Obv things are still complicated in some departments - mostly the emotional one. Yes, her kids feel safe coming to her for help - but she's not exactly the most physically or verbally affectionate. Still, she's leagues better than most Decepticons
