do you guys ever think about that time someone On Here was like "man James Baldwin has some good takes but he's so pretentious about it" and then it was promptly revealed that they had no idea who James Baldwin was and they were under the impression he was some sort of contemporary blogger who they only knew from seeing him quoted on tumblr.
