And yet, somehow there's no fic where Sam is a hard-core Michael/Lucifer shipper and writer???

The possibilities are endless. Like these guys want to fight each other and end the human race bla bla but like what if they just made up and kissed? Sam would prefer that.

You've got Dean, Castiel and Gabriel trying to stop the apocalypse, trying to come up with a plan, and then there's Sam who is too into his head thinking about the next biblical fiction he'll write. What if Sam had like two archangel plushies made on commission and they hold hands and they sit on top of his bedframe in the bunker.

Lucifer entering Sam's dreams to convince him to say yes but he doesn't get the chance to say much because Sam is constantly questioning him about Michael and how their relationship was and if they were close and if they ever shared a bed- do angels have beds? Lucifer, did you preen each other's wings? Did you sing to him? I bet you did.

I bet Sam would be a bit disappointed with canon Michael because his headcanon Michael would have totally defied God and jumped into the cage with Lucifer to protect him (no one deserves to be alone for so long) or would have ran away with Luci from heaven or something equally romantic.

It could also 100% lead to Sam having a crisis because he and Dean are based off these celestial beings and what does it mean if he ships his alternate self with his brother? Is he deep down also one of those wincest shippers?

Sam always knew that he was projecting onto Lucifer when writing him with Michael but after finding out he is Lucifer's true vessel and Dean is Michael's it started to feel a little weird.

Sam as Michael's and Lucifer's true vessel still hasn't left my mind so here's a few ideas for anyone who wants inspiration:

- Sam broke the first and the last seal, making him the true vessel to both archangels. Michael only realises Dean isn't his true vessel when visiting him in his dreams to introduce himself, he's pissed Lucifer got a headstart on convincing Sam to say yes. In this AU I'd say God never intended for the apocalypse to happen. He wants Lucifer and Michael to make up, the best way to do that is Sam Winchester. Getting Lucifer and Michael to reconcile will be hard, but getting Sam to say yes to both of them will be harder.

- One archangel can't escape a cage made by God himself. Two archangels sharing a true vessel though? Might do the trick. Maybe they can't physically escape, but they have enough power to go back in time? Imagine early seasons Sam with two archangels in his head (and their powers at his disposal). Could be a start for Sam/Gabriel/Lucifer/Michael, just saying. I bet Raphael feels left out.

My Sam also has somewhat curly/wavy hair like this, since he's Lucifer's true vessel and they're similar in soul/grace and personality, as in they both felt too much and suffered for it.

I guess my Sam and Lucifer are a bit out of character, I can't help but write all of my main characters with high degrees of empathy. I need my boys to cry 💔

Needless to say, the more scenes I see, the less I want to watch. They really just reversed everyone's character progression, Jonathan and Steve fighting over Nancy? Really? Hopper doesn't let El do x and she's mad about it? Dustin being moody and taking it out on Steve? Haven't we already been through this?

The plot, the dialogue, the power inconsistencies, the bad cgi and lightning... I just can't. That scene where El took out the pumpkins and acted like some wannabe superhero what the fuck was that

They even managed to ruin Vecna, he was so cool in season 4. Why did they nerf my boy :(

I wouldn't be surprised if the whole season was written by AI. The script is horrible. I'm not even talking about the plot here, literally just the lines they make the actors say.

Sometimes, I wish they'd just use fanfiction writers to continue a show because they tend to be better at it. After all the 'Kas the betrayer' theories I was surprised they didn't bring back Eddie in some way. And the "coming out" scene made way more sense in fanfiction stories, nobody cares that you're gay Will we're fighting the apocalypse here. They should've kept that for the end or just not done it at all. The car scene in s4 showed us enough context for that. Don't come at me with "he needed to come out to properly embrace his powers" that's so lame.

I can imagine so many hurt/comfort scenarios for this ship. Especially if Peter is still hiding his identity from them.

Also what if Vanessa and Deadpool are in an open relationship and Peter meets Vanessa when DP is out of town and they start something? And then Peter is super fucking nervous to meet DP but when Wade meets him it's like love at first sight??

I don't think I could choose. I love Sam with angel powers or the powers of God going around and spreading love and being a badass but then there's also Sam as the boy king of hell choosing to fix things and saying fuck you to anyone who thinks having Azazel's blood in him automatically makes him evil.

Or where everyone thinks Sam's powers are because of the demon blood but they're secretly angel powers or it's a natural gift.

Any fic where he uses his powers is already good tbh regardless of where they come from.

You know the first time Eddie Munson was on screen I thought he was kind of a dick and I didn't like him at all. He seemed like a bit of a bully to me during his whole speech on the lunchtables.

Post-canon self-hating Evan who's obsessed with Connor gets a do-over. He befriends Connor and tries to be the perfect supporting and loving (boy)friend. Evan gets really protective over Connor against even himself so he tries to keep his anxiety and depression under wraps, afraid of being a bad influence on Connor's mental health. He was going to be the strong one for once.

He blames himself whenever something doesn't go right for Connor or whenever he's in a bad mood because he's lived through this year before, he was supposed to prevent that. He f*cking time-travelled and he still can't get it right.

Maybe he punishes himself for it? Like whenever Connor gets mad about something or what Evan interprets as Connor being annoyed with him, Evan pinches himself.

I don't know just give me a self-loathing Evan with a Connor who's slowly getting better thanks to his loving boyfriend, but when Connor finally gets back on his feet and doesn't have to focus on himself so much he starts to notice some things about his soulmate:

Like how they always talk about things Connor likes but he doesn't really know what kind of things Evan likes (I imagine Evan used the things he found out about Connor after he died to befriend him) and whenever Connor asks Evan about it he gets really panicked because he doesn't know what to answer? It's like he forgot how to be himself and changed his entire being just so Connor would like him.

Or how sometimes Connor would lovingly say something like "God, how do you talk so much?" and he'd find Evan unconsciously pinching himself or pulling his own hair.

Then Connor notices how many of Evan's smiles are fake. How Evan is rarely happy anymore. How he can just put on some sort of mask and let everyone think he's okay, and they all believe it too. Evan stopped going to his therapist months ago because of "all the progress he made". He never even told Connor what he was seeing a therapist for, said it wasn't anything important, but that he was all "fixed" now.

Connor tries to reach out to him but every time he takes a step closer it feels like Evan is just getting further from his grasp.

Connor wants to be what Evan is to him but it's like Evan thinks he doesn't deserve all the love he gives to Connor right back.

- Evan being a good cook and helping Cynthia with her disgusting vegan lasagna

- A fic that focuses on their class differences including how Evan feels uncomfortable when Connor spends money on him (Heidi taught him not to take handouts and Connor doesn't understand why Evan won't let himself be taken care of)

- A suicide pact fic: Evan and Connor die together. Would also be interesting for Heidi and Cynthia interactions.

- Evan sees the amount of time people have left to live, he sees Connor's life is close to ending and wants to save him

- Evan does a lot of side jobs for money for university. He comes across an anonymous post asking for someone to pretend to be their boyfriend during Christmas dinner/annual ski trip to piss off their parents.

Mister anonymous turns out to be Connor Murphy which is a little awkward because they go to school together and everything but Evan needs the money so he can't really say no.

Things get complicated when Connor's parents turn out to really like Evan and they support their relationship. And why is it so easy to pretend to be Connor's lover? At some point Zoe asks Evan why he even likes Connor and Evan, in front of the whole Murphy family, ends up telling them all the things he loves about Connor. Basically "if I could tell her" but make it gay.

- Connor singing a song for Evan? He's canonically a singer and musician yet this isn't a trope that's used??

I like this fandom but reading fics is so exhausting because most of them have the same exact plot and it's hard to find ones that are different and don't use the same exact canon dialogue every time.

Not to mention that every good fic I find is abandoned and last updated in 2017.

I watched the movie and I really liked the Murphy parents in it. I wish there were more treebros fics where Evan is like the perfect son-in-law and they basically adopt him and Evan basically lives with them and tries to teach them what life is like for a person with depression and teaches them how to interact with Connor in a way that doesn't end up as a fight.
