The lock and key of Amara's cage: rewrite
I think with all the archangels being needed to put amara in her prison, they should all hold a part of the lock/key
And like the mark of cain that Lucifer held, they each change the person to hold them. The mark doesn't affect the archangel, it burdens them sure, but the personality affect doesn't happen to them. It happens though to the humans who take these marks.
I've decided to base each off of the four humors, as that's such a long standing philosophy throughout history.
The yellow bile lines up well with Lucifer, blood matches well with Gabriel, and while it was hard deciding between the last two I think black bile lines up with Michael's pessimism, and has Raphael with phlegm

I find it so weird that season 15 treats Michael and Adam like they were stuck in the cage for a decade even though it's established in season 4 that a month in Hell is equivalent to a decade topside. There's never any indication that angels experience time differently in Hell, so I doubt Michael's presence changed that timeline, and it's very much implied (in my opinion at least) that what we were told about how time passes in Hell in season 4 still applies in season 15, because of how quick Rowena rose to power from Sam, Dean, and Cas's perspective (it was a few weeks at most iirc). At the absolute least, it's never explicitly reconned.
This would mean that given all the information we have, Adam and Michael were in the cage for 1200 years (since 10 years is 1200 months, and each month on Earth is a decade in Hell). But Adam (maybe Michael too? I don’t remember) acts and talks like he was only in there for a decade from his perspective. The only possible explanation I can think of is that Michael didn't let Adam "be" until 1190 years into their time in the cage, and Michael ALSO let him think they were only there for 10 years. Which would be a bit weird considering their dynamic in Our Father, Who Aren't In Heaven.
Idk my point is, it's weird to me that the show treats Michael and Adam's time in the cage as if it was a decade when from their perspective it should've been well over a thousand years.

Michael and Adam's dynamic feels so much like how I personally experience plurality. I don't personally think possession as a whole is inherently a metaphor/allegory/representation of plurality, but I do think Michael and Adam are specifically because Michael lets Adam exist

I wish we'd gotten more of Adam and Michael in season 15 tbh. There's a grand total of 2 times where an angel's dynamic with their vessel is basically that they're friends (those two times being Adam and Michael and Benjamin and his vessel) and it doesn't get extensively explored. It's such a neat concept and I think it should've been explored more.
I especially think Michael and Adam's dynamic should've been explored more because Michael is an archangel but it's also implied Adam keeps Michael in check. Like either Adam keeps Michael in check or Adam was aware of Michael still being incredibly loyal to Chuck and didn't care (and either possibility is interesting to me).
There's also just not a lot of exploration of angels' relationships with their vessels which is a massive missed opportunity imo. It could've been so neat to see Cas and Jimmy's dynamic develop into something a bit friendlier than what we saw in The Rapture, especially if we assume Jimmy's still alive during season 5 (which is never actually clarified for some reason. We don't know if Jimmy's death was Raphael's doing or Lucifer's doing, only that an archangel killed Jimmy)
