Evan turned towards the curtain, pulling it back quickly to find his towel before he started to shiver. His eyes lifted to be met with another pair staring back at him. He yelled in horror, his hands coming up to cover his exposed genitals.

Those eyes were not his mother's. Nor his fathers, they would never be his fathers. It was the ghost of Connor Murphy, sitting with criss-cross on the bathroom counter. He had a wide smile on his ghastly face, a message written in the steamed mirror behind him.

Evan couldn't completely see the message due to Connor being in the way, but he only assumed it said 'HI EVAN!' in big, bold, uppercase letters that were slowly losing shape as water dripped down them.

"What are you doing in here?! I'm naked!" Evan shouted at Connor.

Connor tilted his head to the side, his grin never wavering. "I know. I heard the shower running from your room. You don't normally shower at this time, so you weren't there."

Connor's eyes never left Evan (or his naked body) as he reached for a towel to cover up.
