✨ Summer or Fall? . . 🫖 My favourite season is definitely summer! Even though this year summer is not really what it’s supposed to be, but I’m trying my best to get into the mood with light and funny summer reads. I started to read the Folk of the Air series because of its hype on Bookstagram and unfortunately I don’t quite get the hype. Don’t get me wrong: I don’t hate the books and I liked the second one much more than the first and I’m curious how it’ll all end. I really like Jude and I’m often surprised by little twists and unexpected events. But I don’t love the books. I’m not dying to start the next one once I finished the first and I really don’t support Cardan’s behaviour even if he has his reasons. He is simply cruel (yeah I know, I should’ve got that from the title) and not in a cute way. I often read small parts to digest the content and think about it and then when I still want to read I grab a fictional story.
