I'm nearing the end of my Xenoblade novelisation in regards to the main story. Things that are still undone:
Find the script for Future Connected
Write Future Connected
Write some of the interludes (these will exist to add some wordlbuilding from the side quests while at the same time fleshing out the story). I'm going to write 2-3 Shura interludes, 1 for Dickson, and I already wrote like 3 short ones of Egil, and I'll write another one for him.
Add some more ideas I have for characterisation in the earlier parts of the story, but these I will add when I start the editing phase after finishing the story.
Write all the battle scenes that I skipped during the first draft.
I've been working on this on and off since 2020, and now that I'm so close to the end I really want to finish it.
My only regret is that, after heavily editing some parts of the story (following Miiks' ideas) I realised that I should've made two versions of the novelisation, one strictly based on the main story, and the one I'm writing. I guess I'll just do that for the novelisation of 2 and 3 that I plan on doing, and perhaps for 1 if I feel like it.
