If Harland has five fans, I am one of them. Here's my humble contribution to our small circle (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
(God, figuring out the shading took me forever. I hope I didn't overdo it. I haven't finished a full piece in almost a decade, and it shows. Not that I ever knew what to do once I had the flats done. Anyone wants to sit down with me and go over any mistakes and ways I could've improved the result? Critique is encouraged!)

"We need trilllions to replace all workers" is quite the ask for an industry that has no profits.
It’s so crazy that suicide prevention is just people going awwww don’t!! Awwww come on noooooooooo stopppppp
One of the best ones I saw was a thing noting that every single one of the few survivors of suicide jumps off of the Golden Gate Bridge realized, on the way down, that the problems they were killing themselves over actually were fixable or could be worked through...except for the now - extremely unfixable - problem of gravity.
Went to the Holocaust Museum in DC once. There was a video interview of an Auschwitz survivor who said he and some other prisoners stayed up all night with a man who wanted to kill himself. The man didn’t kill himself and survived to liberation.
In the video the survivor said “Never seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem. And they’re all temporary problems.”
Hearing that from a guy who survived the Holocaust rewired my brain a little bit.
I think something a lot of people don't understand is that depression is not suicidality, and suicidality is not depression. People can, and are, depressed without being suicidal, and sometimes suicidality peaks as people are emerging from depression. Suicidality is a wave, and the trick is to allow that wave to crest and subside WITHOUT acting on it. Whatever it takes to ride it out. For some people that's distraction, like watching television. For others it's calling a friend -- not to talk about the suicidality, but just to talk. For others it could be as simple as going to sit in a coffee shop or library, because the presence of other people is a huge diminisher of suicide risk. That's what suicide safety planning is about. It's like having any other type of emergency plan, like a plan for fire or evacuation. It's making a plan when you are in the frame of mind to do so, so that you can just DO the plan without having to think about it when the occasion arises. When you're in the midst of suicidal ideation, or even intent, you're not in a problem-solving mood. So knowing past!you, with the help of a therapist hopefully, came up with the plan and all you have to do is follow up until the wave crests and subsides, is what allows you to see another day.

There’s a really compassionate and well-written paper/book/thing called Suicide: The Forever Decision that’s written specifically for people who are currently suicidal. The letter to the reader at the beginning is wonderful and deeply understands how to talk to someone who’s suicidal without preaching or talking down to them.
It’s very honest. It’s very clear. It’s very kind. It presents you with a lot of information and a lot of understanding and lets you take it all in like the autonomous human you are, and make decisions from an informed place. It goes over the reality of suicide attempts, pain involved, likelihoods of survival, after effects of attempts, and how to get help if you want it after reading all of that and learning about the reality of suicide attempts.
You can read it for free here: https://qprinstitute.com/pdfs/Forever_Decision.pdf
No one can ever stop you if you’re really determined. Only you can stop yourself. If you’re suicidal and there’s ANY tiny part of you that wants a chance to not go down that route, but can’t convince the rest of you yet, give this short book a try. Or share it with anyone you know who might need it.
after many months I finally finished this stupid David drawing!

Random resources to help with depressive symptoms
Sleep is important so try to stick to as much of a schedule as possible with sleep. Even if you can't sleep, resting does a lot to help the body. Also, phone light keeps you awake. Keep that away from you
Motivation can come in waves, ride that wave when it hits
You need to brush your teeth. It can be hard to get out of bed and do basic things but the teeth have a lot of sensitive blood flow to them that, if ignored, can lead to health complications like heart disease so brush and floss
Hygine in general can be hard when depressed so figure ways of doing little things to keep yourself clean. You can use the sink basin and a washcloth with soap to clean yourself if setting up a shower is too much. Sometimes setting up a bath with a bath bomb or bubble bath helps to get motivated
Video to help with common joint problems:
5 Mobility Exercises That Fix 95% of Your Problems
Vitamin D deficiency can lead to symptoms of depression so get that vitamin. Sources: the sun, vegetables, and vitamin supplements for D3 specifically but not necessarily D2 which can only be recieved via prescription or just eat your veggies
Magnesium can help with relaxation and anxiety. It can also help with constipation
Just doing a silly lil walk on a silly lil trip around the corner can help mood. You require enrichment and doing the same thing over and over will only make you feel more bad over time
Recognize when you are doom scrolling and step away if needed. The world has not called upon you as an individual to solve all of its problems but if you want to start fixing things, invest more in what you can do on a local level such as soup kitchens, community gardens, or habitat restoration projects. The world has problems but they will not be solved by you alone as much as it will be solved by all of us together
Having a hobby is important for enrichment and relaxation. Likewise, exercise is important because human bodies were made to move and movement makes endorphins. Try to find an active activity that you find fun
Not necessarily for everyone but a journal can help with working on negative self perception or thoughts in general though it should be guided with the premise of what things in the day you were happy or appreciative for. You can spiral yourself into deeper sadness if venting there is kept unchecked
Keep contact with friends. Be invested in their lives. We are social beings and require community
Have patience with yourself and be forgiving of yourself too. You do not deal with depression by shaming yourself into doing things. It's ok to take baby steps because every little form of progress is a victory. It can only be done at your own pace

its ok theyre Gods lil helpers
And boy are they clumsy
Hi, these bees are babies! They’re not clumsy at all, this is what is called orientation flights. After birth and before beginning their careers as foragers (as all Honey bees cycle through all the jobs in the Hive throughout their lifespan), Honey bees take short flights back and forth, to and from the Hive, to orient themselves with their wings and their home so they can learn its location and how to get back home after foraging! Everyone has to learn, these are just smol little baby turkeys. Bees use the angle of the sun for location so adults have a better and more direct sense of location than any human
IM SO PLEASED TO LEARN THIS!!!
They are just!!! Student drivers!!! 😭

Good morning, TESblrinas!
If y'all thought I forgot about this—you were wrong (I still love you)! I've just been hyper busy between classes and travel! But now, at the eleventh hour, may I present to you the 2026 TES Pinup Challenge!
(screenshot by @stormbeyondreality)
Last year's challenge was heavily themed around Oblivion given the Remaster's release, so this year I made sure to open the prompt list to broader TES themes and concepts, with bent toward contrast.
Remember to tag your entries #tes pinup challenge 2026 so I can reblog them here!
