Here's some positivity for psychotics who don't fit the "acceptable psychotic" standard we are held to.
Psychotics who completely believe your delusions and don't recognize them as delusions, you're worthy of love and support no matter what your beliefs are.
Psychotics who don't believe you're psychotic, you're worthy of love and support even if you don't realize this post is for you.
Psychotics who rarely shower or clean the house, cleanliness does not equal worth. You deserve love and support no matter how hygienic you are.
Psychotics who are nonverbal or semi-nonverbal because of your psychosis, you are worthy of love and support no matter how much you can talk.
Psychotics who refuse to take medication, you're deserving of love and you deserve autonomy over your treatment.
Psychotics who refuse treatment altogether, you deserve love and support even if psychiatry isn't for you.
Psychotics who are violent (verbally or physically) because of your psychosis, you are still worthy of love and support. You deserve an environment where you and the people you love are safe.
Psychotics who need a caretaker or live in a group home, you deserve to be taken care of and loved.
Psychotics whose delusions lead you to believe in harmful conspiracy theories like Qanon, reptilians, etc., you are worthy of love and your delusions are not your fault. Delusions also don't reflect your true character.
Psychotics who will never be able to hold a job, you deserve love and support. Your worth is not tied to your productivity.
Psychotics who have gotten in trouble with the law because of your psychosis, you still deserve love and support. Your criminal record doesn't lower your worth.
Non psychotics can reblog but please don't try to start discourse.
