Shopping for laptops fucking sucks ‘cause I don’t know shit about computers. I’ve never had a computer with a functional webcam or microphone or the ability to play computer games made later than 2005 or a speaker that could play anything loud enough to hear from more than a foot away. How the hell should I know what I want?!

i havent bought a new piece of electronics in years. not worth it. i always buy my laptops 4-5 years old because the enterprise device replacement cycle is 4-5 years. its a perfectly good device (maybe lacking battery life, but you can either replace them or buy them with replaced batteries) and you get a seriously solid computer for like $500. gone are the days where you need a new computer. laptops especially are so stagnant a 5 year old device will work just fine for most people
