I just listened to the preview of Maroon 5′s new track, “What Lovers Do” (ft. Sza), and I can’t help it but miss when at least we could listen to Adam’s true vocals. He has such a beautiful tone, I don’t get their producing decisions at all anymore. Sza sounded like an amazing artist to colaborate with. She’s so fresh, she’s bringing something so cool to the R&B scenery right now! I wouldn’t expect such a synthetic sound from her right now, either. But I don’t want to jump into conclusions just yet, and it sounds pop and catchy regardless. So I truly hope it works for them. There’s a lot of new songs out recently, they need to stand out and I hope that somehow they achieve it!
