I think the message here works even better when you actually look at the dynamics between Kris, Susie, and Noelle during the festival; they aren't actually butting in, with neither Susie nor Noelle begrudging their taking part in any of the festival activities and in fact finding Kris' presence to be fun and helpful; Kris is a natural addition that completely the trio, but the game mechanics themselves make it feel like Kris is either being forced in or forced out.

Given all this, I really wouldn't be surprised if a major part of the story in Chapters 6 and 7 is Kris' own unresolved feelings for both Susie and Noelle, and the added guilt of being attracted to both parties of a couple you support on top of the whole Knight conspiracy thing. Given that Chapter 6 is probably going to happen in the Holiday family house, there's definitely gonna be a lot of stuff about the triple-threat of Susie third-wheeling the dynamics between the Holidays and the Dreemurrs, Kris third-wheeling the new relationship between Noelle and Susie, and Noelle third-wheeling the Dark Worlds which were previously "Kris and Susie's thing" that she's only now getting in on.

I personally believe that Chapter 6 is going to end on the reveal of Kris' betrayal, and Chapter 7 will have getting Kris to return to the Fun Gang as a major plot point if not the goal of the whole chapter, so I think it would add a nice kick of drama if Chapter 6 has the Krusielle trio start to unpack their feelings as a trio, only for Kris to betray everyone and go with the Knight, and Kris' eventual return to the light involving a proper discussion between all three (after a while of Susie being pissed at Kris followed by the revelation of Kris' trauma leading to the Fun Gang being sympathetic towards them).

When the boat is floating in the water you probably say "she", unless there is still a lot of work to be done (e.g. no engine yet) then you say "it".

When the boat is officially launched and operating, you say "she". If you continue to say "it" at this point you are not incorrect but suspiciously untraditional. You are not playing the game.

If you are referring to a boat you don't really know anything about you may say "it" ("there's a big boat, it's coming this way"). But if you know its name, it's probably "she" ("there's the Waverley, she's on her way to Greenock").

If you are talking about boats in general, you say "it" ("when a boat is hit by a wave it heels over")

If you speak about a boat in complimentary terms, it's "she" ("she's a grand boat"). If you are being disparaging it may be it, but not necessarily ("it's as ugly as sin", "she's a grotty old tub").

If she has a boy's name, she's still she. "Boy James", "King Edward", "Sir David Attenborough"? The pronoun is she.

If it's a dumb barge (no engine), you say it. But if it's a rowing boat (no engine), you say she.
