So, Dante is getting more experience with commanding the Sinners through Malkuth, and Faust is having some issues with the Gesellschaft; we knew that already, but it's interesting that Dante was able to pick up on that specifically, even if Faust is hiding the exact details of it and trying to avoid talking about it. It's interesting that she's forbidden from explaining what the Aspect is so long as it must be disclosed to Dante, which implies that someone holding her leash is trying to keep Dante in the dark.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S BAMBOO HATTED KIM??? HERE I WAS EXPECTING HIS APPEARANCE TO BE PERPETUALLY SHROUDED AND HIS PERSONALITY TO BE SEVERE AND SERIOUS BUT HE'S FUCKING SAMJO VERSION 2???

So, Meursault apparently has a distinct disdain for the concept of an "objective viewpoint", and aside from the canned experience it seems that N Corp has a specialty in photography and especially in the assurance that a photo hasn't been tampered with.

Oh my god Kim and Aeng-du are hilarious. Also, Don Quixote commiserating with Aeng-du over having to kick their ridiculous-acting bosses into acting as proper leaders, since that's basically what she was doing a Sancho...

Huh, so Faust is actually acknowledging Heathcliff's gut instinct, specifically in the context of it apparently being a known phenomena for some people to just have that kind of precognition. Matt apparently also had it, as does Kim, so it may be something we see more of going forward. I'm kind of curious as to whether it has anything to do with Vergilius' ability to see the Flow, actually...

Ah, Dante... I can guarantee from the comedic DOOM sound effects when it happened that telling Meursault to warn you of incoming enemies way earlier is going to come with its own share of comedic issues.

The Grand Magasin Sisyphe... presumably, this is going to be a major figure during Canto X. Or a faction, I guess?

Thus far, it seems this Intervallo has a decent amount of focus placed upon characters being able to know things beyond what should be possible - the discussion of Faust's issues with the Gesellschaft, Kim and Heathcliff's gut instinct, and now Dante being able to pull details from a bunch of different areas by monitoring them with Malkuth.

OOH, MEURSAULT GRIMACING SPRITE! An outright frown, clenched teeth, all in response to the idea that Canned Experience is something to be praised.

I'm gonna be so honest, I get it if all the battles being focused encounters is meant to serve some narrative purpose due to this all occurring "inside" of a Distortion but I'm gonna be honest it's extremely annoying having to manually select and target skills on the most basic-ass enemies imaginable. Please give me a chain battle soon.

It's interesting to see that, similar to their huddle in Nocturnal Sweeping, Dante is calling on Outis and Faust as their advisors on what to do in an uncertain combat situation; Outis has the most tactical experience, and Faust has the best knowledge on the situations the Sinners are to be facing and the path they're meant to tread. Also neat to see Distortion keywords coming back as a way to reward good investigation with a bypass straight into the Dungeon of the Fathoms.

...Ah, so Kim was part of the Pi circle of S Corp. Given S Corp Hong Lu's comments in the trailers of how the Sal and Ppyeo circles are teaming up, it seems that the councilor that Kim (or at least BL Meursault) failed to protect was part of the Pi, while the Sal and Ppyeo were the more corrupt organizations.

Ah. So it wasn't just that Kim failed to protect his councilor... it's that the councilor set him up for failure and faked his death to frame Kim. ...Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is just a straight-up retcon. Either way, Kim's life story is... pretty much just a tragedy. In service to the most moral yet most oppressed Court Circle, only to have the circle's leader betray you to ingratiate himself back with the corrupt elements of the Wing. Then the Library, then him witnessing his fellows die to the Kurokumo Clan, then the forced Distortion causing him to slaughter his own followers...

In general, it seems like this Intervallo and Kim's portrayal in it is PM having to write themselves out of a corner they got backed into due to the Blade Lineage's initial writing and characterization clashing with modern Limbus Company's more intricate worldbuilding, along with the presumably growing need to develop the setting of S Corp for future events.

HELL YES BAMBOO-HATTED KIM EGO EFFLORESCENCE. It's interesting to see that for all that he's both humorous and sorrowful, Kim does embody pride as a sin, particularly reflecting the way that Binah, Sancho, and Rodion represent pride; as the belief in an unbreakable cycle, that it's impossible the break the rules of the world and make it a better place so it's useless to even try.

So, Meursault was "One Who Nails" - presumably a rank on par with Kromer's "One Who Grips" - and part of the Maintenance and Management Team at the Canned Experience production headquarters.

If I had to guess on the difference between Meursault and Kromer's titles, it's probably akin to how S Corp is split between the Sal, Pi, and Ppyeo. In turn, N Corp presumably is split into the Gripping, Nailing, and Hammering factions, with the Nailing faction seeming to run the production of Canned Experience.

...Interesting that Faust is also wary about the N Corp Agents coming to arrest Meursault. I had previously theorized that she's also a Taboo violator or otherwise a fugitive of a Wing, but now it seems a bit more likely that said violation is connected to N Corp, just in a way that didn't raise N Corp's awareness about her.

...To be honest, for an Intervallo that seemed to advertise itself with Meursault, Yi Sang, and Faust on its front image as the main three Sinners developed by the Intervallo, only Meursault gets any major screentime, the rest of it focusing on Kim. Not zero, of course - it's interesting to learn that the League's issues in T Corp were essentially just a reprise of S Corp also trying to press them into service, and it's nice to see Faust be more open about her frustrations and more willing to give Heathcliff credit and rely on her own observations, but beyond that it's... really not as much as I had hoped.
