I’m Puerto Rican, but I come from New York. I speak Spanish and English fluently!
I don’t have many friends, so on the weekends I let myself have a break (if I even can, haha) and watch movies or try to finish reading books I like
My birthday is June 6th, and I was born in 1973. Not that old yet…
I’m not very interesting, really. Just don’t listen to Dr. House when he says I have autism. I don’t. I’m a psychiatrist, I would know.
Despite popular belief (thank you Dr. House for these rumours…), I am also not in love with Dr. Eric Foreman. He is a dear colleague of mine, though!

My relationship with my peers!
Dr. Gregory House: Brilliant doctor, one of the smartest men I’ve ever met. Still, this doesn’t change the fact he makes 5 conspiracy theories about me every other week… first it was that I’m illegal, then it was that I’m a government spy… this isn’t helping my reputation.
Dr. Eric Foreman: My dearest colleague! He doesn’t talk to me quite often, but I love being around him. He lets me talk, even if he doesn’t exactly respond or tells me he’s busy… he’ll be free eventually! :)
Dr. James Wilson: Great doctor! Always very kind and patient with everyone. One time I prescribed him antidepressants! Not sure how he deals with Dr. House—maybe somethings will never be learned, haha.
Dr. Allison Cameron: She’s so friendly and has my back whenever Dr. House is being weird :) I don’t know why she keeps asking me about my parents, though…
Dr. Robert Chase: Hw reminds me of Dr. House, in a way. Not necessarily in a good way.
Dr. Lisa Cuddy: My boss. We’ve never talked long (she makes faces at me and leaves without even paying attention to what I was saying…) but she’s a good boss and I respect her deeply (unlike a certain Dr. House!)

Not really a boundary but? Benny does have a big fat crush on Foreman and will speak about him in a romantic light (for him anyway) so yeah just putting that out in case any Foreman blogs want to interact

House: Thinks he’s fascinating. Wants to inspect his brain like a high schooler with frogs. Relates to him when it comes to his stance on ethics in medicine. Still, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love making his life a living hell like his other fellows despite Benny not even being apart of his team
Wilson: He’s brilliant, albeit… odd. When they talk, it’s mostly Benny info dumping to him about something Wilson isn’t paying attention to while the latter nods his head a few times
Cuddy: Solely her employee, but she will refer patients to him. They don’t really talk outside of necessary hospital stuff or whatever

Other information about Benny
This doesn’t really take place in any one season, but not season 8 (lowkey not real to me except for the ending but wtv)
He’s gay and autistic, he just doesn’t know it LOL
Growing up, he was emotionally (and physically) neglected by his parents, which made him very self reliant. He also never had much social interaction in general since he sucked at talking to people. He’s blocked out most of his childhood (ironic right) and as an adult struggles to form bonds and can seem like too much on many occasions. He doesn’t get hints unless you tell it right to his face
Doesn’t have a lot of empathy. He loves psychiatry, but mostly because he likes seeing and researching what makes people tick. Cares, but doesn’t at the same time
He also doesn’t have a lot of morals when it comes to medicine. He will do whatever it takes to find an answer to a problem, no matter if it’s unethical.
Can’t really set boundaries and is pretty hypocritical! He’ll really say whatever if it gets people to like him…
Deep down, he is self aware, but he hates thinking about the fact that he Isn’t A Good Person, so he just represses that until it’s “not an issue.”
His relationship with Foreman is that of a lost soggy puppy following some guy around. Benny does genuinely like him, he just sucks at showing that normally (or being normal in general). Foreman (autistic in my hc! I won’t force this on anyone tho) doesn’t really know how to interact with him, but when he isn’t being insufferable around him, Foreman does actually enjoy his company (and maybe likes him a little bit.. don’t tell anyone though..)

I mean… look for them? If you really care about them. Personally I don’t care about kids, they’re loud and annoying and whenever one of them gets into my office they make a mess or keep asking stupid questions… just make sure your daughters don’t get taken by anyone, I suppose?
I’m probably coming down with something… since I just woke up (I can’t believe I slept for that long!) I think I’ll just entertain myself by reading up on some old research studies, or maybe my cat Muffin will let me play with her for a while. Maybe I shouldn’t be around her though, since I can barely breathe as it is. :(
Today was so exhausting… I had to call security on a patient because he was convinced I was the reincarnation of their abusive dead father. Then I accidentally burned my dinner and I’m too tired to order takeout…
While I’m no cat expert by any means, I’m not sure it’s something you can really “fix.” Cats do what they want to do! They think they’re gods and we’re simply their servants, haha.
Maybe just take Sara out of the room and close your door, or maybe put her in another room by herself? And if she can open doors, use child safety locks :)
I know the feeling, haha. Have you ever tried turning a bathroom (if you have multiple) into a space for your cat? Or making a space for her in general? One of my bathrooms is essentially just my cat’s bedroom, and she loves it :) it could solve your problem of her barging into your room when you’re working and loafing all over your work.
That sounds like a good idea :) I would put all of her toys and anything with her scent in the room so she can establish it as hers… I don’t know if you already have a bed for your cat, but if you don’t and if she doesn’t use beds, maybe use a box with a baby blanket? Cats never use what we buy them, unfortunately, so you have to make do…

This morning when i was leaving for work it was so dark out and i didnt see my cat and i accidentally kicked him in the face because he was right at my feet!!!! I feel terrible. Ive been thinking about it for hours, its haunting me!! He never learns not to stand at my feet when im walking.
Aw, that sounds awful :( I’m sure he isn’t mad at you anymore! Especially after you give him treats… Something similar happened between me and my cat… she was mad at me for about an hour, scratched me, and then fell asleep next to me.
