Hey, we come by it honestly! My Canadian brain had this problem in London... the street my flat was on had a posted speed limit of 40. Seemed normal for the size of street, that's what it would have been at home. But NO ONE was going 40 on it. They were ALL speeding like lunatics, far too fast for the street and all I could think was do they not enfores speeding laws? Seemed unlikely given the nanny state of things.
