when a trans man dies because his murderer wanted him to be a woman and his masculinity defied that, regardless of how much misogyny motivated his murder, that man still died because he was a man. because he refused to call himself woman when he was told that was his place.

many men would not be dead if we could simply hold our tongue and our breath and our life closed by continuing to be woman. but many men can’t. trying to do that kills us slowly. when we shed off that lie we can instead, at least, die violently, quickly, brutally, and then have our murder counted in femicide statistics without anyone recognizing that a man died because he dared to be a man

systemic or nonsystemic, the personal prejudices people have against trans masculinity and female masculinity is ultimately for their masculinity and not for their “failure to perform femininity”. we can perform femininity as much as we want and transphobes will still kill us because we dared grasp for a label they do not want us to have.

From now on this is how all petty fandom disputes should be settled.

No I don't think the demonization of testosterone HRT is about transfems or transmisogyny actually. I think the demonization of testosterone HRT is anti-transmasculine and about transmascs and men.

I just stumbled upon an Instagram reel that said something like "I'm probably trans but I'm too much of a misandrist to accept it" with thousands of likes (including a couple of irl friends of mine who know that I'm a trans man...) but sure the queer community doesn't have a problem with men and masculinity and the radfem rhetoric that's been allowed to prosper in queer and feminist spaces these past years is not harmful to trans men at all (/s)

Apparently there's drama in the tiktok feminist community bc someone (correctly) argued that being a woman doesn't make you an authority on feminism. People did not like this.

Some women are in fact misogynistic anti-feminists or completely uninformed and a feminist man who has read a single bell hooks book would be a better authority on feminism than them 👍

lord knows I'm sick of people using "kink" as some magic shield against engaging with their own ideas and actions but it's wild to single out BDSM practicioners as people who "keep murdering women" and to do so by citing an eleven year old incident when I can name like, a half a dozen women murdered in nice Christian relations in the last few years. Legit think there's an extremely strong resistance to actually analyzing how the masculine end of gender functions because that would require dismantling gender antagonism as a philosophy. Which is really frustrating because that only reinforces gender as an institution and prevents us from making meaningful progress in dismantling these systems that fuck everything up for everyone. But most Americans can't pass up an opportunity to feel righteously angry about something, so a lot of people just don't wanna move past that.

The most important lesson to learn from everything within the world of men right now is that masculinity itself is a pyramid scheme. Everybody gets these treasures dangled in front of their face and is told the way to get them is to become a heartless drone. To not only become blind to your own suffering, but to make others suffer, because suffering is the exchange of power. If you suffer enough you will win. Trust me bro.
