Looks like this is some kinda blog that exists to take statements that use "TME" and replace it with "cis men" to show how a lot of the time people say TME and mean "AFAB".

And then this got complicated by the fact that this post...isn't even an example of that. "Most [people in this group that has cis men in it] (especially trans men who are also in that group) are terf socialized" is definitely a flawed take (I don't think terfs are socializing cis men!), but it's not a complete contradiction.

FWIW iirc "terf socialization" is a tongue-in-cheek term used in response to the idea of trans women being "male socialized", referring to how ideas of gendered socialization are basically a bias towards terfy gender norms.

The thing is, both cis men and TMA people can be victims of sexual violence. But at least if you’re a cis man, you’re more likely to be believed, as you have a vagina, so long as your rapist is AMAB.

But with TMA people, if you say that you’ve been raped, you’ll either be not believed (because you have a penis), or it’ll get turned around into you being the rapist, as opposed to the victim, due to having a penis.

Cis men and TMA people are treated drastically different when they come forward about being raped.
