Words I would like to say to a friend of mine, who won't want to hear it
Human beings are biologically, EVOLUTIONARILY, social creatures. I genuinely believe with my full chest, that despite the incredibly evil things many humans in this world can do and have done, they at some point in their life have felt compassion towards another person, and gone out of their way to help someone else when they are struggling.
I will never be a firefighter, fighting the will of nature to save lives.
I will never be a lawyer, working a pro-bono case for someone who can't afford to fight their battles in a court of law.
I will never be a doctor, who uses their years of study and knowledge to cure ailments and illnesses.
I most likely will never be able to save everyone I meet from their darkest times in life.
But if I can help one person
ONE PERSON
going through a tough time, who doesn't have the strength to handle it on their own
then I know that surviving this long has been worth it.
And I will keep surviving until I can save another after them.
