I’ve been mulling this over for the past couple of days after I decided to relocate a few of my muses to my multi-muse blog. As it stands, I just have way too many blogs and I’m trying to cut the number down, especially since it often feels like I’m neglecting a bunch of muses. I love the character of Shizune and I really want to keep playing her, except I keep neglecting this blog and that’s not fair to you guys who want to RP with the best big-sister and her piggy cohort!

"That's certainly a blunt way to phrase it, Anko-chan..."

“Ahahaha! Not fooling anyone about what? I didn’t say a single word.”

The bead of sweat rolling from his temple says otherwise.

“… Anyway, I’d never do any such thing. Heaven knows I trash-talked him more than enough back when some of us considered him unworthy of the squad…”

She said nothing at first, simply giving Jiraiya a knowing look. His inability to hide his crush on Uncle Dan was little different from Shizune’s attempts to hide adoration for Tsunade.

*Drops this off, it’s even Shizune’s right size as well. There’s a note attached to it.

“Looking forward to our date, Shizune-san. Thought that you could wear something a little more lovely than your daily clothes. Be seeing you soon."  - Kabuto 

“O-Oh my...” She examined the dress, she had honestly just planned on going in her regular clothes, even though she had gone out of her way to purchase a suit for Kabuto.

“Well Tonton? How do I look?” She asked, having tried the black dress on.

“Jiraiya-sama, you’re not fooling anyone.”

“I only did this once for Easter though...” She sighed, eventually relenting and going to change into the costume.

“She always says no. No matter how I ask her and whatever I do. She still thinks about your uncle…” Jiraiya sighed. Frankly, he was a little tired of constant refusals. But that made his life not so boring. 

She had to resist the urge to strike Jiraiya herself at the mention of her late Uncle. Dan being gone wasn’t just something that weight on Tsunade, he had been special to Shizune as well, her dear Uncle...

Rin quickly motions to make room on her cluttered desk, shifting bits of paperwork out of the way, for the plate of sweet treats, before carefully placing her cup down amongst the rabble. It looked a mess, that much was a given, but it was an organised chaos, typical for this time of year. 

“It’s screening season…” she mutters leaning back in her chair and raking her hands through her hair. “… just trying to sift through the backlog, you know how it is, ne? It’s all happening down here in pathology.”

Shizune was forgiving of the mess on the desk, after all, her desk had been very much the same at times, and that was without even mentioning the absolute mess that was Tsunade’s desk on the regular. With enough space cleared, she put the plate down and found a vacant chair so she could sit down with Rin, Tonton immediately hopping into Shizune’s lap.
