i think being a trans man is a lot more difficult than many people are willing to acknowledge because that would mean needing to talk about the misogyny we experience without misgendering us or grouping us with cis women and they’re just not ready for that. like there’s the specific transphobic misogyny (not transmisogyny) when our biomedical transitions are percieved as us ruining and destroying our bodies and making them undesirable and repulsive and infertile. it’s real and it’s traumatising and we don’t really talk about it. very difficult

and this isn’t about being in competition with trans women over who has it worse or some shit. never. this is very much directed at cis people who consider themselves allies of or advocates for trans people but don’t understand what moving thru the world as a trans man can actually look like

It’s fine if you hate someone for what they believe, but maybe don’t just flat-out say it? You could phrase it like ‘if ur a terf unfollow me and never speak to me again’ or something without the hateful shaming. I know it’s too late for this post but maybe in the future? :)

Note that these “if X, conservatives would win in a landslide” comments always involve restricting who can vote, because they’re all fully aware of the statistical reality that if every single citizen over the age of 18 in the US voted (putting aside even the cases for lowering the voting age or giving voting rights to permanent residents), it would make the Republican party almost totally nationally uncompetitive.
