But what started as an unnecessary drunken lie to prove a point to two different persons for two wildly different reasons quickly ensnared them in a web they didn’t know how to back out of anymore.

uhhh hello stranger!!! i’m going to be honest and say that i didn’t know what hanahaki disease was, but after a quick google now i do and i must admit that i uh.... don’t really see the appeal of it... personally... like it’s kind of disturbing to me as a concept, but then i’m just not that much into like sick fic and other disease-centred fics and this is no exception.... like it seems incredibly traumatizing for the person involved??? like fuck if i was coughing up rose petals bc of unrequited love, i’d give up on loving altogether real quick.....

i really can’t imagine it with prumano either, i’m sorry. as much as i like unrequited love, i like it for the pining and the angst that stems from that, not bc it might actually cause one of the to die.... and with prumano especially i love for them to either mutually pine (and that would kind of defeat the purpose of the disease cause you’d figure it out real quick) or just be instantly attracted to each other so.... yeah can’t really see it happening....

oooooo man i dont think enough about poland oh gosh 🙈 

but i do think he’s a very artsy person!!! painting, sculpting, sewing, crafting,,,, it’s like the one time he can let go of appearances and doesnt mind getting covered in paint or clay or whatever he’s creating with!! he gets so absorbed in what he’s doing too that it’s suddenly evening and he hasnt eaten whoops. and i feel like, beside buying new clothes, he also likes to alter the ones he owns, tailoring them to his liking if theyve begun to bore him!! most clothes go through three or four alterations before theyre finally donated or thrown away. 

also horse riding!! i never see it mentioned anywhere beside the fact he owns a horse, but he is like the best equestrian of all the nations!! he’s a horse girl at heart i wont take any criticisms. he owns a stable and, while he obviously pays for stable helps bc he aint cleaning that, he loves to brush and care for his horses (yes he owns multiple. he also sometimes allows others to stall their horses at his place too if they have no where else to go, especially elderly, retired horses). he also sometimes joins (and wins) local, just for fun, competitions just for the heck of it. 

also just doing makeup?? he likes to experiment a lot with colours and styles and honestly just likes doing fun stuff bc sometimes you just want a different face??? he tries to stay on trend but often just goes off to do his own things bc whatever he’s old he’s seen and done this before and also corals might be in season but they sure dont go with his wardrobe rn. 

uhhhhh tbh not so much for romantic relationships. i feel he has had a lot of casual ones with humans (and maybe a few nations to pass the time or whatever), but never committed to anything bc hes an old man and commitments, when youre nigh immortal, suck any way you look at it, whether it be with humans or nation, so he’s never bothered until pru accidentally happened

as for platonic ones, of which i think he has plenty, i feel he’s always had a good relationship with his greek siblings and their mother (as a former greek colony himself). i also headcanon belgium to be his best friend bc i just love the idea of a solid and deep friendship between them (also so many roadtrips)! denmark is another really good friend he’s known since ancient times--theyre drinking buddies. i also like him friends with france bc i think once they get past each other’s walls, they can have really honest and open conversations about everything. he’s also penpals with belarus bc i just said so 🤷‍♀️ there’s no need for masks when it’s between them.  

he’s also a collector of siblings, so the benelux, vene, possibly spain and portugal--they’re all given the younger sibling treatment. theyre all baby to him

Oh goodness I honestlydon’t know?? Its never something ive specifically thought about but more of afeeling of “he’s the one!!” I guess he was just really endearing and charmingto me?? And in a way relatable too considering he’s highly emotive and I tendto be as well,,,, his personality also has so much to offer to me?? And it’sreally interesting to experiment with him in terms of different fears, flaws,traits, speech patterns, personality, even age,,,

Pffff as to what I’dwant to change??? The dependency on spainfor sure,,, I really dislike just how prominent it is throughout the comics, toa degree that makes romano appear just so extremely helpless,,, and I knowthere was the whole bit about him breaking away, but even during that it wasjust,, so There,,, I want to see him interact with other characters bc yeah weknow hes joined at the hip with spain bc of history but blease??? Also, justthe portrayal of romano as lazy and not wanting to do any work,,,, like of allthe stereotypes I dislike, that one might be the most prominent one,,,,,
