How Do Blog ,?

I will be using he/him pronouns for Jax as i don't super like using pronouns a charcter hasn't decided for themselves unless in an au/what if scenario. We're talking about canon Jax so I'm going to use he/him, but he is a trans woman, at least in my eyes.

Listen. I get not liking him. I get that he's a huge piece of shit and he deserves the hatred he gets. Sure. I'm a Jax enjoyer but i don't condone the things he's done, just as i wouldn't condone the actions of a male character i like if they did the same fucking things Jax did, Loki being a great example.

My problem is when people go 'oh its a transphobic portrayal.' It's fucking not. That's blatantly fucking false. I'm a fucking trans man. I've seen trans people who acted like him and I've had my own issues that still rear up pretty frequently. Trauma is a hell of a thing especially when you've gotten absolutely no help and are terrified of literally everyone around you to the point you become a vitriolic monster. LGBTQ+ people also should be allowed to be portrayed as monsters sometimes, just like cis straight people. I want ALL FORMS OF EQUALITY in my media thank you.

Anyways, Jax was compared to his dad who was horrifically abusive to him and his mother, by his mother, for years. He was then laughed at and mocked when he tried to come out to his mother. He lashed out, believed he accidentally killed her and ran away in guilt, and went homeless. That's extremely fucking traumatic. Trauma doesn't breed strength it just breeds more pain for everyone around the traumatized person if they don't know how to handle it, i speak from experience.

And before you throw the 'oh but Gooseworx said horrible things about women despite supposedly being a woman now' at me, you know women say awful shit about other women, right? Same thing with men but we don't criticize men for saying bad things about men, oh but that's because men suck, right? Misogyny is fucking misogyny so if you think all men should die or whatever, you must really not like trans men. Get the fuck off my page if that's the case. Anyways, If the men get to talk bad about men then women should be allowed to talk bad about women. You want equality? Fucking stop treating women like the right does. A woman said or did something bad or problematic? Big whoop, expecting them to not be anything other than angels is the same way men saw women back in the day and how some of the right still see women. Let Jax fuck up. Hate him for genuine fucking reasons instead of using him as a political weapon, it's just pathetic and gross and I'm tired of seeing it. Block me if you fucking disagree with me, i do not care.

And about the, her using Jax as a self insert thing, i don't blame her. I can definitely see a trans woman using a repressed abusive trans woman as a stand in because of trauma or self hatred. That's her character, she's allowed to feel that way about her own character. One of my characters that i use as a self insert is Plat, a schizophrenic gay man who eventually accidentally kills his sister and mother (who he both loves dearly btw) in a drug induced haze and has killed hundreds prior, specifically because this way of life is his way to deal with the worst of his mental health issues, and therefore a way for me to cope with my own mental health issues. Does that mean I'm ableist and homophobic cause I've written a problematic gay character despite being pan, ace, trans, and disabled? Or is it okay cause he's a man and I'm a trans man and it's only a problem when a trans woman writes a repressed trans woman in a way that reflects her own self hatred. Get a grip.

And if Erid's best engineer is correct (and there's no reason it wouldn't be), this creature not only managed to breed a predator of the warmth-taker to survive in various atmospheres, including Threeworld's, but also turned around to provide aid when it discovered that the predator could escape xenonite.

And you think: Surely, this creature which protects itself without a carapace, which sleeps so lightly and knows so much and learns so quickly, which saved two planets at the cost of ever returning to its thrum, surely, a creature so extraordinary must have a name to match

And you think: Perhaps it is strength, Mountain-Base or Lonsdaleite-Carapace. Perhaps it is intellect, Diamond-Claw or Lockpick-Mind. Perhaps it is courage, Song-Through-Silence or Path-Carver

And you think: None of these names hold the true weight of what this creature is to them. How do you describe something like that, which aids without expectation of anything in return, which risks its own life for the sake of a species it cannot touch, which performs miracles simply because it was asked.
