exercises in style: superbat
Exercises in Style is a 1947 book by Raymond Queneau. It draws on rhetoric textbooks from Antiquity to the Renaissance. In Queneau's version, a two-paragraph story is told in 99 different styles. I am doing this exercise with a short piece of superbat fic. The original ("vanilla") short fic is here. Variations are indexed below. Variations 6, 7 and 8 follow prompts from Superbat Week 2024.
