i’ve been laughing at drow tav and gale ever since i read somewhere that apparently in lolth-sworn society, wizardry is a man’s work (derogatory, i can only assume?). imagine being a male drow or i don’t know an at least somewhat progressive female drow, and you finally get out of the underdark and possibly the first man you meet and team up with in the game has the primary backstory points that he’s a wizard and that he had an insane power dynamic with his female ex. i’d be having conniptions.

My hot take is still that I don't think he actually believes that getting excited will destabilize the orb and he was just straight up lying to you about that

update it seems this literally only happens if you romanced astarion. i've only seen this reported with astarion romances and every other romance seems to work fine, she goes off alone
