Raven is the daughter of arguably, the most infamous. Her mother, THE Evil Queen got renown, and deep fear, for what she had done to the world. She was dubbed the âHarrower Queen,â quite a fitting name for the woman who took over the Evil fairyâs hex, Faybelles own mothers destiny, caused a great curse upon the Wonderlandiful land of WonderLand, making everyone insane and almost killing the Queen of hearts in the process, and stealing several magical artifacts and other items, to fuel her wealth, and pride.
She was locked in a deep mirror prison, to keep her from doing anymore danger to the land of Ever after. The public believes she is dead. If only that were the caseâŚ
Raven would rather be damned, than ever be like her mother. Raven is kind, smart, musically talented, and funny. All things her mother said were wastes of time when she should be focusing on evil!
Raven tried to ignore her destiny. But with every ticking moment of time leading up to Legacy day, she felt insane. She confided with her father. âI canât sign, Dad! I canât be like her! I canâtâŚ.â Her father sat in his chair, face towards the fire, eyes deeply sad. Reflecting on his destined marriage, a woman he loved but she loved her pride, and malice more.
âDo what you need to Raven. Sign a book, or donât, I will love you regardless. Evil or not I will still love you.â Not entirely talking to her, it seems, he pulled her into his arms, hugging her as tightly as he did when she was 10 as they led her mother, in chains, on her hands, feet, and neck, into a mirror where she would never leave.
Raven wouldnât sign. She wouldnât be her mother. She wouldnât subject herself to the malice and hatred she saw daily. She wouldnât subject it to Apple.
She and Apple were childhood friends going to the same middle school together. Having sleepovers giggling when reading cringy fanfiction, them and others wrote about One Reflection when it was still around. They were best friends. In high school things changed. Apple became obsessed with being the perfect image of Snow White, fair skin, red lips. An unrealistic beauty standard to put on someone, Raven once thought. Pressure got to Apple easily, and Raven confronted her once and she broke down in Ravens arms, crying about how destiny seemed so stressful, and how much pressure her mother was putting on her to be perfect. To be the next beautiful Snow White.
Raven held her, sympathizing in the pressure of being perfect in a parentâs eye. Apple never mentioned that day again, but after that, her and Raven kept more in touch, busy, but still keeping time to send each other good morning, and good night texts, every day.
She couldnât do that to Apple all the harm she would do, she couldnât. She wouldnât.
Especially not when her heart beat faster, and she got rosy every time she saw Apple now.
She wonders if itâs just destiny, looming, making her stressed. But she knows deep down, deep, deep, deep, down.
She longs to be the one that wakes Apple from her slumber.

But also for Ravens and Apples outfits because I love symbolism.
Raven, notice how she doesn't dress traditional? Her and Apple are opposites, one wanting her legacy therefore embracing it in even in her clothing where as Raven despises it, dressing more modern but still liking at least one part of her Destiny, her fathers hence the corset.
They are polar opposites in jewelry, hair, style, and fate. Especially Raven over here.
