I like Maddie for a lot of reasons! She's my favorite character, too

While she's also a comfort character of mine, I simply enjoy her writing completely. I love her Wonderland-esque zaniness that's on point with who she's the daughter of. Like, of course I like her because she's silly, but the way she's silly in comparison to all the other characters (including other Wonderlandians) is very refreshing

I also love how selfless and loving she is. She doesn't care that Raven is the daughter of the Evil Queen, she cares that Raven is Raven and Raven deserves to be who she wants to be. Maddie loves her friends from Wonderland, and her friends from Ever After. She's an incredibly well intentioned person

Another thing I love about how she is, is that she's not one of those characters who feels incredibly out of place during a serious situation. Sure, Maddie is wacky and crazy, but there's still emotional and tender parts to her (such as her relationship with her dad, or her homesickness when it comes to Wonderland, prior WTW). I think she's a very emotional person, yet she's grounded. She's a lot more than the comic relief, because she's resilient, helpful, and always looks on the brighter side

There are many scripts online you can follow, many ways to tweak your message to fit your senator (ESPECIALLY if they are up for reelection this year). Whether it's a recording you reach or a real person, be straightforward, don't argue, just let your rep know that you are a constituent and you oppose the KIDS act, etc.

if Alistair wasn't Wonderlandian

now i know ppl love him as a member of the Wonderlandian gang and i won't begrudge you for that; the fandom makes him more interesting than he is in canon anyway; but likeee why is he even IN WONDERLAND TO BEGIN WITH THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE and also it would add some tension to his love story bc falling in love with the daughter of the White Rabbit would seem so much more ironic, so much more poetic, so much more... dramatic ykw?

i get they're not supposed to be dramatic but i think they could benefit from it

they could still be childhood friends! i love a good cross-border childhood friends-to-lovers! maybe i'm just too much a sucker for the "we're not even from the same world" angst. maybe i'm just a sucker for cross-cultural romances. but like even if Alistair wound up stuck in Wonderland for a couple years, he'd get to experience a lil bit of the cultural belonging crisis. AND THEN when he returns to Ever After, he'll still feel like he doesn't belong even when he's back home!! i love that.

1) Option 1: Alistair and Bunny are the same as in canon, but they're children. Like, 12 years old at the most. So many of their flaws are consistent because they're the behaviors of two kids.

2) Option 2: The Liddle family lives in BookEnd and are the guardians of that well we see in Spring Unsprouted. Since Alice's story takes place over two books, Alice as an "adult" (or at least a recent graduate) experiences the plot of "Through the Looking Glass" while her heir as a child is "in Wonderland"; and so on in a loop.

So Alistair was in Wonderland as a child because technically it was part of his inheritance while his mother was with the Red Queen. Now, while he's with his Queen of Hearts (who isn't Lizzie, but his mother), the evil queen invades Wonderland. So Alistair gets trapped there by mistake.
