You are no longer a small lad, Kaew. Quit following me around. Others might see and gossip that you weren't behaving like a man. This is who I am. I don't care. And why should you care? I have never liked you.

i love illegal immigration like yes bitch get in here
I know we have already talked about it but I LOVE that Sorn makes sure Jun gets his nut before even THINKING about getting his own.
He really turns sex into an experience for Jun.
I was actually thinking about this earlier and it's kinda even deeper than that. Sorn keeps to pleasuring Jun but never exceeds past his boundary. He could have fucked him last episode but he didn't. He did exactly what he did before. This episode, he only does more because *Jun* is curious. He's also always watching this boy's expressions like, is he into it? Does it make him feel good? Am I saying he has an undiscovered praise kink? No. But I'm not saying he doesn't.
He is about as subtle as a bulldozer. If Jun had an iota of self-awareness, it would be over for Sorn. And it is 100% in how he touches him. "You should entice your lover..." As he does that lick into Jun's mouth he likes. Stop tooting your foghorn, Sorn. They can hear you in Bermuda.
I know we have already talked about it but I LOVE that Sorn makes sure Jun gets his nut before even THINKING about getting his own.
He really turns sex into an experience for Jun.
Sorn longs for Jun in the most fascinating way, able to fuck him at any time, to tease him and mock him with others, always able to have a harsh word... and then sulking when Jun isn't staring at him, pouting when he's not staying with him, asking for kisses constantly, always wanting sex and affection, staring when other people can show him affection with this desperate yearning that he doesn't even seem to realize is his own. He yearns and longs for something he won't even let himself think about, an impossibility of love that burns in his heart and comes out as jagged pieces; sex and teasing and pushing and possession.
I feel like saying these “two need to communicate better” isn’t accurate because Jun is actually a great communicator, Sorn just won’t stop kissing him long enough to let him talk

Sorn: There are no feelings between us, strictly fuck buddies, 'kay?
Also Sorn: *cradles Jun's face gently* *gives the softest kisses* *gets insanely jealous if another man looks at Jun* *can't stop kissing Jun at work*
Jun: *semi aware there are at least some feelings*
Also Jun: Okay, noted and expectations set; I will continue to dislike you even as we are actively exchanging orgasms, you asshole.
Bold thought of the day: if we're going to compare My Stubborn to Love in the Air, the two characters that really parallel are Sorn and Rain. Both of them are being driven by a powerful craving for a D/s dynamic which they are not at all consciously grappling with, leading to a lot of unhinged and contradictory behavior.
Things go much more smoothly for Rain, partly because he's angling for the sub role but mostly because his partner is experienced and understands what's going on. Payu sees the signals Rain is broadcasting on every channel and leads him around to a settled relationship they're both happy in. He plays his role as a dom and gives Rain the prodding and support he needs to understand himself and his own desires.
And then we get Sorn flailing all over the place because he wants control, he craves it, and he wants it in a specifically eroticized way, but he doesn't seem to have the language or framework to set up a stable dynamic. He doesn't realize (although maybe as of ep 4 he is beginning to see) that the role he desperately wants to occupy also comes with responsibilities. And Jun has even less of a clue what's going on so he cannot steer things or lay boundaries the way an experienced sub might be able to.
I'm having a GREAT time watching this disaster unfold.
Fourever You: Part One Final Episode + Updates!
And with that, Fourever You PART ONE comes to a close. It's been a journey and I can't believe we made it. I don't want it to be over!
Hill & Easter's and Johan & North's stories are complete! (Episode 17 is now available for Fast Track on WeTv/TencentVideo.)
Today the Fourever You Final Episode event, Fourever You See You Again, took place, where the entire cast rented a theatre and watched the final episode with fans. To everyone's surprise, there was an official announcement at the end. That PART TWO is "coming soon."
Everyone will be reprising their roles and part/season 2 will focus on the remaining couples in the friend group. Bever & Tonliew as Tonfah & Typhoon and Ngern & Oat as Arthit & Daotok.
AND as a bonus, due to much of the love from the fans, we get an extra pairing in season two... Pie & Golf will be returning as Tiger & Duennao!
Amongst all the excitement and tears, Director New did officially announce that part two will be in 2025 (Bever tapped Tonliew on the shoulder and asked if 2025 was this year, which resulted in giggles from the cast. LOL.) So, let's keep our hopes high and our fingers crossed everyone.
Each of the remaining 3 couples have known each other for years and have acted in other shows together, although not always as a pairing. Each actor seems excited for what's to come and I, for one, am inclined to agree with them. In the mean time, we are still waiting on the official English translations of the novels. However, the author has allowed them to be translated into any other language, as long as it's not for commercial use. The publishers will not allow English translations because they are in charge of those themselves. So, if you're fluent in any other languages, take advantage of the other translations! Until then, happy reading and enjoying everyone! Although flawed, I have truly enjoyed this show and the actors have done an incredible job with what they were given. I am so grateful and thankful. I will definitely be back when part two airs!
Pilot Trailers have dropped!
South: Beside the Sky (Tonfah & Typhoon)
West: The Sun From Another Star (Arthit & Daotok)
Lately, It's Winter Season (Tiger & DuenNao)
I loved Your Sky with all my heart but the whole “sea/sky” thing truly threw me off cause it came out of the blue & I feel we missed some important information.
I don’t know if the show was based on a previous written work that has that information, anyone knows?
Hiiiiii! Your Sky is a novel adaptation. (I plan to make a master-post about all of the novel vs. series differences soon but it's taking some time. 😭) But I have to explain this because I feel like this was such an important missed moment!
It's mentioned multiple times in the novel, but they only slightly mentioned it once in the beach/mv filming episode, Episode 6. It's also present in a scene or two in the pilot trailer, so it's sucks that it didn't make it into the show. :(
In the novel, during their first "official" meeting Rak uses the Thai cheer-up/fighting! phrase: สู้ สู้ (suu suu!) "Suu suu!" can also be used to describe the sounds of waves crashing against the shore. So, Rak uses a sentence that uses homophones to cheer on Muenfah in a really cute way. "Do your best, P'Fah, just like the sound of ocean waves. Suu Suu!"
It makes Muenfah giggle, so much so that he comes back like 10 seconds later to ask for more encouragement. And every time after that, as Fah and Rak build their relationship, anytime he needs encouragement he goes to Teerak. Rak promises to be by Fah's side to cheer him up, he promises to encourage him to try hard like the ocean waves and tells him to come to him any time he needs motivation. Rak will text him, send a voice message, call or facetime him to be his "sea." Rak even makes a silly joke later on that if Muenfah upsets "the sea", the sea will become a "tsunami," and that gets a full belly laugh out of Muenfah.
Muenfah means ten thousand skies. It's a name given to him by his parents. When his mom is pregnant and she misses his dad because he's in Hong Kong for work, she asks him how much he loves her and he responds, "As much as ten thousand skies." And that's how Fah gets his name.
Hence, the tattoo, "I'm your Sky and You're my Sea." Which Muenfah gets after they've both confessed their love to each other and start their relationship together.
There's even more details to their love story, it's so so beautiful. But I just thought I'd give some context because this was actually a super sweet important moment for them and it's technically the beginning of their relationship.

i know it's basically what all my "analyses" boil down to, but
it just genuinely kills me that yotha is trying his best with what was given to him. and his best is dysfunctional at best, but goddammit if he's trying, and he's pushing himself to where he's uncomfortable but he *is* trying, and just how maddening is it that, try as you might, sometimes your effort just isn't enough.
and how incredible is it then that gun says i see it, it's enough for me
My favourite thing about the Faifa Yotha fight in episode 13 is how (like everything else about their characters) their upbringing really shines through.
Faifa was the first person to make sure Gun was okay. He was also the first one Gun went to when he felt unsafe. He asked him to take them home because he knew Faifa would respect him. Yotha likes Gun (probably more than he even realises) but his actions have made it more than clear to Gun that he is not Yotha's first concern (that isn't necessarily true, but Yotha has left Gun on multiple occasions despite him asking).
But Faifa always puts others first, almost to a fault. Which is why when Faifa asks, oh so gently, to explain why Gun feels hurt, he actually does.
The line that really stands out to me is when Yotha screams "Gun is... not an object." Because yes! That's exactly the point. And yet Yotha talks to Faifa first, not Gun. He assumes that it's Faifa who made the decision. Because when they were kids they didn't get a say in who stays with mom and who stays with dad. He was mad at Faifa for the same reason he was mad at their mom.
Both Yotha and Faifa are protectors. But Yotha thinks it's an offensive game. He needs to protect from someone- he needs to protect Fai from his mom, protect Gun from Faifa (or his nightmares), himself from love. There is an enemy and he is the sword.
Faifa is a sheild. To him it always has been defensive. He needs to protect Gun and Yotha to keep them safe, to stop them from hurting. He isn't fighting the problem, he is holding their hand and walking through it with them. He takes the time to understand their needs. And the only confrontations are ones someone else starts. (God I love him so much).
So when Fai says this ("you've never taken care of him"), I'm inclined to agree. It's not entirely true, obviously. But it's about what Gun wants, and Gun doesn't need a sword.
Yotha realises he's made a mistake but he doesn't know how to fix it. I really hope he figures it out but it's not just "kiss and make up".
Ugh, I love them😭.
