Natsuiro no kumo ga koi to arashi wo makiokosu trailer
A new trailer for the upcoming TV Asahi bl Natsuiro no kumo ga koi to arashi wo makiokosu ('summer-coloured clouds stir up love and storms') set to air in July.
The trailer was region-blocked, so I uploaded it with hardsubs.
Both leads are apparently idols. The timeslot is exclusively for dramas starring Johnny's idols.
The story is an original script by Matsuda Yuuko. She's been writing for over two decades and has penned hits such as Gokusen, Hanasaki Mai ga damattenai, Tokyo tarareba musume, and Yankee-kun to hakujou girl. Director Takezono Hajime directed Yuria-sensei no akai ito, one of my favourite dramas. I might check this one out simply for the people behind the camera!

Takemiya Natsuki, a high school senior preparing for his university entrance exams, is having the worst summer ever. He gets dumped by his girlfriend right before summer break, his mock exam scores are a disaster, and his future suddenly feels completely hopeless. Worried about him, his older sister arranges for her boyfriend, Kobayakawa Sota, a student at her university, to become Natsuki’s private tutor. At first, Natsuki can’t stand Sota. He seems way too perfect, cheerful, and effortlessly charming. But as they spend more time together, Natsuki finds himself caught off guard by Sota’s warm smiles, gentle encouragement, and the innocent way he praises him with a pat on the head after studying hard. Little by little, feelings he never expected begin to grow inside him. Falling for his sister’s boyfriend is the last thing that should happen. Besides, with entrance exams approaching, romance is the one thing Natsuki absolutely does not have time for. Yet the more he tries to suppress his emotions, the more brightly Sota seems to shine in his eyes.
