i was trying to think about how aradia would integrate w the human social circle and i cant help but conclude everyone would instantly love her because she is like the capybara of sburb

except these two! june for very petty surface level reasons (ie bad first impression and poor listening comprehension) and vriska for. a great number of much more complicated reasons.

but mostly i just love to see june be a shitty little hater i think her skills in haterology are underappreciated

prevented us from trading with Russia (and anything else that wasn't beneficial to Lebanon)

prevented the government from partnering with Iran to develop hydro-based electric generators

armed and abetted ISIS and let them loose so that they even invaded Lebanon

armed Israel that in 2024 used 80,000 tonnes of explosives to destroy 6 residential buildings to assassinate one man

negotiated on behalf of Israel for the Leb government to return the bomb Israel dropped that didn't explode (y'all ever wanna see cartoony levels of evil and stupidity, look no further than Israel and the US and the clowns they installed in Lebanon)

funded "protests" against the Lebanese resistance that fights Israel and keeps them from occupying the land

has been pushing for sectarian hate to create a civil war between the people

Meanwhile Iran:

provided heavily discounted fuel that was distributed to families in northern Lebanon to help heat homes in the cold of the winter during the US fuel crisis

negotiated for Lebanon to be included in the ceasefire in 2026

closed the strait of Hormuz again when the Usrael inevitably disrespected the agreement and bombed Lebanon (and not Iran) in 2026

provided aid to Lebanese families displaced by the war

assisted in efforts to rebuild southern Lebanon following the 2024 "cease-fire"

has not meddled in leadership in the government and respected Lebanese sovereignty

Every day, I watch my younger siblings grow weaker from hunger and exhaustion. Even our dog, who has always been part of our family, has lost so much weight because I can no longer provide food for him either. The hardest moments are at night when my siblings ask me when life will become normal again, and I have no answer except patience and prayer.
