Hi this is my intro
You can call me goose, quail, Crip or star. I go by a lot of pronouns, he/him/it/its/ey/em/star/starself for English, and for Spanish el/elle. You can also just use he/him for English. I do use a lot of of micro labels but for simplicity, I’m a trans mascfem gender-fluid Lesboy aromantic who is very T4T, and very queerplatonic and polyamorous (when I get the chance). I’m also Perisex/dyadic/not intersex
I’m 19
I have a lot of disabilites
Physical stuff
-localized HSD
- POTS
- endometriosis
- asthma
- borderline glaucoma
- damage in optic nerve in eye due to a mild TBI
- IBS
- migranes- caused by a very mild TBI
- chronic nueropathy
- chronic kidney stones (we don’t know what causes them
- sezuires (we don’t know what causes them)
I personally suspect a thyroid issues due to the kidney stones, joint pain and family history. I got all of my symptoms after getting the flu so there’s also a post viral element that hasn’t been explored.
Mental
- Autism, level is between 1 and 2 according to my psychologist at the time, and I consider myself to be MSN due to all of the other issues
- ADHD
- PTSD
- depression and anxiety (kinda no duh for gen z though)
- dermatillomania/OCD
I also fit a lot of traits for cluster B disorders, including BPD and NPD. There’s also some other personality disorder clusters I fit as well. I’m also being assessed for dissacotive disorders. This is cluster B friendly space. NARC ABUSE RHETROIC IS NOT ALLOWED HERE.
I’m a crutch user primarily, I occasionally use a rollator or electric wheelchair and for my job I pretend to not be disabled. I’m also a college student. I also have a visible gait issue, visible muscle spasms and nueropathy and somewhat visible autism. I also use a bunch of other stuff such as migrane friendly glasses and braces. I also have speech issues. I do not use AAC and I’m not nonverbal though. So like in general, I’m visibly disabled but not that visible if that makes sense.
My main DNI is people who are abelist, which includes ignoring and diminishing disabled people’s autonomy, demonizing disability, fetishing disability’s you don’t have, comparing disabilites outside of objective facts (like for example, cancer is worse then depression argue with a wall), fake claiming, pushing any medical advice when they say no, claiming that high intelligence/2E/gifted is a disability when savant syndrome is an actually disability and exists, claiming the r slur and not being intellectually disabled, etc.
Other DNI include- pro contact anti recovery paraphillia havers, endogenic systems and stuff like that is on thin ice I’m trying to understand it more (endo in this space is short of endometriosis), TRASH, saneism, terfs duh. People who do not at all try to understand intersexism and only weaponize the intersex community as a talking point against transphobia. Idk if there’s anything else.
I also don’t want minors on this page just because disability in the context of sex and fetishizing will probably be disscused on this page
I will share mutual aid specifically disability related on this page whenever I can
I am from the US (Oregon), and Mexican American at that. I don’t have experience outside of the US so please do add on the conversation especially if your not from the US and especially if your not from “the west” (I.e. canada, Australia, the EU etc)
I will also be talking about how being disabled affects my culture and how it affects me in general. Disability greif, and disability rage is going to be central. If you’re expecting total positives in this page please don’t expect rhat.
I belive in MadPunk strongly, and I’m also studying to be therapist. What that means to me, is rhat I mitigate the harm that the psychiatric systems cause while people are in them, such as having in-depth informed consent and advoiding psychiatric institutions as much as possible, but I will have my job and I don’t want to loose that.
After the revolution I hope to also still help with people’s mental health recovery and stabilization, but of course there will not be psych wards. If there is absolutely anyway to improve my internal workings on this subject, and to help people more while migigating harm outside of not being a therapist, please give tips!
Same with improving accesibility. I will try not to include images to help with visually impaired folks, but if there’s anything else that can be improved please let me know. If you’re dyslexic or have an intellectual disability I don’t mind reading it out loud and I don’t mind simplifying posts as well.
Wow rhat was a lot. Ok I’m tired and you probably are too after this post. Go drink some water. Eat what you can. Take your meds if you need to. I hope y’all have a lovely day and I hope that y’all are flare free too!
