This Take-Out Style Low Carb Beef and Broccoli Stirfry is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional takeout. It's packed with flavor, tender beef, and crisp broccoli, all in a savory low-carb sauce.
Ingredients: 1 lb thinly sliced beef. 2 cups broccoli florets. 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce. 2 tbsp olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ginger, minced. 1 tsp sesame oil. 1/4 cup beef broth. 1 tbsp low-carb sweetener e.g., erythritol or stevia. Salt and pepper to taste. Red pepper flakes optional, for heat. Sesame seeds optional, for garnish.
Instructions: Combine the soy sauce, beef broth, low-carb sweetener, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and optional red pepper flakes in a small bowl. For approximately 15 to 20 minutes, marinate the thinly sliced beef in half of the sauce. Heat the olive oil in a big skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the marinated beef for two to three minutes, or until it turns brown. Take out and place aside from the skillet. Broccoli florets should be stir-fried in the same skillet for three to four minutes, or until they are crisp-tender. Add the cooked beef and broccoli back to the skillet. Cover the beef and broccoli with the leftover sauce. Stir-fry for a further two to three minutes, or until thoroughly heated and coated. To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Enjoy your low-carb beef and broccoli stir-fry hot off the stove!
