The best part about watching Heroes is it's a pretty solid superhero show AND sometimes you get to see Hiro turn to his husband and go "nooooo, I can't save the world unless you get me that cool katanaaa. Yeah my powers are totally not working right noww. I absolutely need the banging sword from my childhood stories or I just I can't use my powers. You wanna be teleported to the other edge of the Pacific ? Yeah so no that sounds like something I can't do until I get the cool sword. Waffles." And that is a plot point lasting half a season and I just thing that's beautiful.
