reading fics in this fandom is like damn i wish there would've been some 'anti-bashing' tag or 'this author wont be incorporating their grudges against characters into a fic' because i hate reading some long fic, enjoying it and being met with mischaracterization so vile it has a neon sign that says 'author just hates his ass'

(to be fair i think it mostly happens when some Ship War stuff in involved so when im reading some spiles it has none of that bullshit and clearly mostly written by multishippers who are okay with characters having other relationships in their life)
