I love seeing content where Shinichi forgets that he’s not Conan anymore, but I NEED to see content where everyone else forgets that he’s not Conan anymore.
Ran scolds him for “getting himself into trouble” and Shinichi has to stand there getting lectured in front of the police for doing his actual, adult job.
Heiji tries to lift Shinichi up to show him evidence, forgetting that they’re only inches apart in height now. Shinichi just kinda hangs there until he’s put down.
Kogoro yells at Shinichi for leaving the house so late and he has to explain that he’s going back to his own house. To sleep. Because he lives there.
The detective boys break into Shinichi’s house to whine about him not showing up to school that day, forgetting that he goes to college now. They pout so much when they remember that Shinichi has to promise to walk them to and back from school the next day. Haibara thinks it’s hilarious.
Akai keeps calling him “Boya” despite Shinichi being very clearly an adult man now, and Shinichi’s not entirely sure if he’s fucking with him or not.

5. Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
Starting off with Prince Zuko! Honestly this feels like kind of a basic answer, but he’s genuinely one of if not my favorite character in the entire Avatar universe. Obviously I have to cite the redemption arc, but aside from that he’s got so many good moments and he’s designed beautifully and seeing him come of age throughout the show is an entirely experience. Also I’m kind of obsessed with Dante Basco (istg he’s in everything I enjoy)
4. Steven Universe (Steven Universe)
Next on the list is Steven Universe himself! He’s funny, he’s kind, he has a really nice design, he’s not afraid to get gender nonconforming with it, I just love him so much. Also I kind of aspire to be him if that makes sense???? I just want to be as kind and caring and hopeful and unconditionally loving as him (obviously not to the point of being self destructive), so I see him as kind of an inspiration. Also he’s really funny, both as a kid and a teen. He’s just so fun and cool and has an amazing character arc (esp in Future)
3. Peridot (Steven Universe)
Next up is the tiny green dorito queen herself! She in my opinion has one of the best animated redemption arcs in recent history, and I also really connect to her story of learning to love life on Earth and life in general. I find her really relatable in that sense, especially since we’re both nerds and artists and a little obsessed with one specific mlm ship (she’s literally me frfr). Not to mention she’s hilariou (humor is gonna be a reoccurring theme in this)
2. Jean-Loo Pissoir (Date Everything!)
*GASP* The guy I’ve been obsessing over for the last YEAR??????? IN 2ND PLACE?????????????? It’s more likely than you think. But seriously, he’s definitely one of my favorite characters, he’s just the newest on the list so I don’t know if I can say if he’ll be one of my favorites of all time (he probably will tho, let’s be honest). I just think he’s so clever and funny and he’s such an interesting character too. His design is amazing, he’s really well written and I LOVE his voice. And also basically everything else about him but I’ll give it time to say if he’ll be a permanent fixture in my pantheon or not.
1. Garnet (Steven Universe)
Look, there’s a LOT of characters I like, but it would be neat sacrilege to give the number one spot to ANYONE but Garnet. She was one of my first introductions to being queer (even if I didn’t realize it at the time), she’s just generally AMAZINGLY written, her voice is impeccable (we love you Estelle), and she’s kind of just all around my favorite character of all time. And I know there’s been a lot of SU on this list, but it’s kind of a masterpiece to me and part of the foundation of who I am today. But Garnet specifically has just been such a symbol of joy and strength in my life and I’m always a sucker for love-themed characters. Maybe I also love her because she’s a ship and I’m a nefarious shipper? I don’t know, but I love Garnet either way. She’s awesome and all her songs are fire and at least to me she serves as a symbol of staying resilient and, most of all, staying full of love.
Soooooo yeah those are my favorite characters of all time! Obviously this list is subject to change, but this is pretty accurate to my feelings about characters in general. Noticeably I have not included Cookie Run or Hellaverse (which if you know me you know I was obsessed with), but I feel like the characters didn’t have as strong an impact on me as these ones did or that I don’t like them as much now. Anyways yeah those are my fav characters drink water pls bye!!!!!!!!!! :3
