Prices in Gaza have started to rise unusually, and goods have almost disappeared from the markets. Types of vegetables are scarce and expensive, and meats have vanished from the markets too. I mean, what's happening is the beginning of a new famine; food is expensive and scarce in the markets!

in addition to ammar's condition, samah has also fallen ill - she fainted and had to be given a blood transfusion due to her blood pressure being exceedingly abnormal

she needed two litres but was only comfortable having one due to her baby's situation - the doctor told her she may fall into a coma at this rate too, so she absolutely needs this second litre as well

she needs $273 for this treatment - with the 30% fees that gazans must pay, this means she needs $400 to have this money in hand

samah also has an evacuation fund set up on ko-fi, where there is not a holding period for funds unlike gofundme. this will allow her to buy passports for her and ammar and evacuate to egypt

as she mentioned above, the medical costs in gaza are overwhelming. a series of injections costs almost $4000 - that's nearly as much as the passports themselves, for something that ultimately does not fix the problem and only helps alleviate issues

this is why ammar needs to go to egypt as soon as possible, so that he can have treatment for his compounding medical conditions and have pacemaker surgery to fix his heart condition, rather than just help maintain stability

already, he has nearly gone into a coma as well due to samah having been scammed $200 out of medication

please, whichever one you choose to donate to, whichever you are comfortable with, these are very urgently needed costs and samah requires them as quickly as possible

we passed the final deadline for this to be done without extra costs. we've already ended up needing $700 extra as ammar has required 3 iv drips, and now he will require even more

the final time we could have given him this injection without extra medicine being required was 12 am gazan time, and it is now 1 am. he has taken a fourth iv drip.

the first iv drip costed $76 in cash, the second costed $57 in cash, the third costed $136, and the fourth costed $57. after fees that is $213.90, $160.40, $382.80 and $160.40 respectively.

as a result, the total amount we need to raise so far this week is $3457.

ammar will now require a new iv drip every 3 hours for as long as he doesn't have this injection. in another two hours, he will require a fifth one

these costs will keep piling up. ammar is extremely sick, and he has only been getting sicker. he's extremely weak and his blood pressure is extremely low.

i am begging you to help him before the costs ramp up even more

ammar is in the intensive care unit on life support. he can't breathe properly, and the doctors are afraid his heart will stop. this is how weak he is in this condition, 11 hours after the final deadline for when he needed his digoxin injection.

being this far past the deadline is actively dangerous to his life. ammar may die at any moment.

his condition has only gotten worse and at the same time, it seems everyone has stopped caring about him. we have never had to wait this long before, and i am extremely scared for him.

this is more than just about the extreme costs, though the costs are turning extremely high - this is the fact that without you, he is going to die.

i don't know how much more i can emphasise how badly he needs you.

the doctor has said that ammar can stay on the life support machines until 10 am tomorrow gaza time, at which point they will be taking him off of them.

that is in 11 hours.

needless to say, his condition will obviously be much worse if he is not on life support, to understate. i assume he will essentially be left for dead then at that point, if he doesn't die before then from heart failure.

if ammar's imminent death does not move you donate even as little as $3 or $5, whatever amount you can, then i don't know what else i can say.

i can only beg for everyone to help ensure it doesn't get to that point.
