I used some perfume mixed with water to make Moss Fable smell like petrichor. It's still a bit strong (we don't do well with artificial scents), but I really love it. Now he smells like a forest dragon.
He is bringing us a lot of quiet joy. I love how jellycats often have this nostalgic feeling to them. Moss Fable especially feels like a familiar storybook you can cuddle. I can just imagine our child-self dragging him through the woods on adventures.
I think I'm going to clear out a cubby on our desk and make him a little nest and hoard.
