We haven't had this in a while. We have had fragmented pieces littered about the web, but nothing whole. Nothing us.

This space isn't an entirety either, but it is becoming more. Little pieces clicking together. It is nice to look at a space and see identity reflected again. It has been a while since we had that.

I have been asleep. The me that was is no more but the me that is still reflects..Her. Him. Them. The spaces that were lost are filled now. The spaces that were empty have broken away. And I am made anew into something I was not but still am.

The moon was a cacoon. Now we have wings..and horns. Was this our final form? Time is an illusion, but it will speak at some distant point and make known what was. What is. What will be. We have only to wait. To watch. To know ourselves and be a fragmented whole.

The Dust Puppy

Dust Puppies are keepers of old and forgotten things. They dwell in the lost, and in between spaces. If you have ever lost something, it has been fetched and kept in the care of a Dust Puppy. Dust Bunnies will often let a Dust Puppy know when a lost item falls into their domain. They have a symbiotic relationship, with Dust Puppies acting as guardians to the Bunnies and the Bunnies helping to keep the Dust Puppy's collection well stocked (and properly dusty)...

Ziggy. Part of me wants to rename him. He is galaxy themed but lately we have wanted a glitch themed plush and he would be perfect.

Ziggy understands how trauma can feel like it forms a glitch. He has had his own healing journey with us. In the beginning, he didn't even want to be an essa. He wanted to be left alone, but needed acceptance.

Now, he takes pride in his plush aid status. Though, he still only really likes us and the other pack-mates (and it takes time for him to get comfortable with new members).

Anyway, his identity may change in the future. Will see.

Our identity has been really fluid lately. We are changing, which makes sense given that a prior co-host is active again. As host, my identity is heavily influenced by which alters are around, but I always have my own sense of self to ground in.

But, lately, that is changing as well. I feel different. Still me, but some core pieces of my identity feel more..distant? Like the puzzle pieces of my existence are being rearranged into a new image.

It doesn't scare me. I'm used to the tides of our existence rising and falling, reshaping the sands of our collective existence in new and old ways.

But, it's interesting to be more aware of it this time. To feel the changes slowly taking shape. To notice little features of who I am morphing into something new.

I think that may be why we have latched onto the moth identity. Moths are insects that change form. They only do it once, but still...it resonates.

But, we also have the glitched identity. We often view DID as a glitch. A System Error, if you will. Dissociation, derealization, depersonalization, time warping..it all feels like a glitch or series of glitches. We used to apply glitch effects to all our favorite selfies and images. Slight distortions around the edges.

I'm losing the plot of this post.

The point is, you, dear viewer of this little speck in the network, are going to see changes over time. I wish we could be stationary. I know people find comfort in things that are grounded and familiar. We are not that. Our existence is not a comforting one to most people. We are a walking Error. A reminder that existence is not bound to one perspective or identity.

Things will change, and I hope that those of you who notice won't mind too much.

Hello to Auggie! Such a cute plush friend!

Getting the hoard organized a bit. Still working on it. I didn't realize we had collected so many foxes! There are a couple more elsewhere too.

Really happy to finally feel able to work on this. It's been a mess for so long >..< It will still be a bit messy to take different ones down, but not too bad and we have our most common support plushies on a less packed shelf.

Can you tell that Void is more camera shy than Lumi? Lumi loves being the center of attention, while Void tends to tolerate it.

I used a hollow piercing needle to thread the post through. And I put a few stitches around the edge of the created holes to make sure they don't unravel. The smaller the needle, the less likely that is to be an issue. I used a 14g post, but a 16g needle. It's a little fiddly, but a 14g needle does more damage in my experience, where a 16g tends to be small enough to go between the fibers.
