❁ Bunnie updates: A few years ago, I got this big boost in confidence and, began pushing myself to dress how i've always wanted, speak boldly and express myself in every way possible. It started with getting rid of my old, boy-ish clothes; exploring all of the hidden interests and aesthetics that my parents and peers shamed for being childish then, forming a personal style that fit my ever-evolving, kitschy taste! Since casually becoming addicted to thrift shopping, my closet has expanded to include mainly vintage pieces (that i will cherish for the rest of my friggin life). Depop has only made it easier for me to rotate items for the season change while saving for my future.

Overall, when I look at myself in the mirror, dolled-up and beaming with hope- I'm extremely proud of who i've become and who i'm becoming. Before, wearing anything less than jeans and a full-coverage shirt made me feel exposed and vulnerable. The wa men and even sometimes women looked at and spoke to me, always left me with this deeply fearful, icky feeling in my chest.

Things aren't perfect and, i still get quite nervous unless I have a guardian going out but, I feel more confident and am quick to shoot dirty looks at the creepy old men in stores. I'm getting better at this: Being a woman, being a mother and being a fully-functioning human being! We're getting there one outfit at a time, hehe.
