So I recently got into Alien Stage and had the thought of “hmmm... how would Ash and Tris look as idols?” and these sketches were the results. 😆

I was only experimenting with their outfits. I don't know what happened.

Since I apparently decided to resurrect a bunch of my ancient OCs and I'm now completely obsessed with redesigning them, would you guys like to see them as I finish each one?

I was thinking I could post the finished redesigns, little character updates, sketches, maybe some lore and whatever else I inevitably end up coming up with because apparently I have no self-control. I might post them i might not, unsure yet XD

I'm literally not drawing any differently but apparently the art gods woke up one day and went "you know what? Three different artstyles. Have fun."

LIKE CMON WHYYYY!!! ( ￣ー￣)

So apparently I went digging through my old art and found these guys from around 2020 and I genuinely forgot how much I loved their designs.

They were originally characters for an old story inspired by fae folklore, and unfortunately a bunch of their original backstories/relationships are tied to people and memories I have absolutely NO desire to revisit 💀

So naturally my solution was:

keep the characters, throw the lore in the bin, and rebuild the entire thing from scratch.

And now I've spent the last several hours redesigning them, rewriting their personalities/backstories, figuring out their relationships, rebuilding the fae world, and becoming emotionally attached to them all over again.

So uh...

This is apparently my current hyperfixation. 🤣

I have Parker, Evander, Alastair, Silas, Reevis and Aveline and I am NOT stopping anytime soon.

I decided to do it for my oc's so here's the first two.

Don't worry.

He only looks harmless.

I'm collecting oc's like pokèmon at this point.

Eiichiro Hinata (陽向 栄一郎)

Age: ???

Current Status: Special Grade Cursed Spirit

Height: 5'10" (178 cm) (Human) • 6'3" (190 cm) (Curse)

Personality

Kind, patient and quietly dependable.

Despite becoming a curse, Eiichiro retained much of the gentle nature he possessed as a human. Soft-spoken and calm, he instinctively places the safety of others before himself, always offering peace before violence whenever he can.

His affection is expressed through actions rather than words. Carrying heavy bags, making tea, walking others home after sunset or simply remaining nearby so those he cares about never feel alone.

Although outwardly gentle, Eiichiro quietly carries an immense hatred towards fate itself. His final wish was simply to remain by Shizuka's side. Rather than allowing that grief to become cruelty, he has spent years mastering it through discipline, kindness and unwavering self-restraint.

His greatest lesson has never been combat.

It has been learning how to carry unbearable pain without allowing it to define him.

Innate Technique

Mushin (無心) – No Mind

An innate technique born from complete mental stillness.

Rather than overwhelming opponents through raw cursed energy, Mushin allows Eiichiro to perceive the natural flow of battle. By observing breathing, posture, movement and fluctuations in cursed energy, he instinctively understands an opponent's intentions before their attacks are fully committed.

To outside observers...

It appears as though he can predict the future.

In reality...

He simply understands the fight before it happens.

The calmer his mind becomes...

The more impossible he is to fight.

Weaknesses

Despite his overwhelming physical strength, Mushin demands complete composure. Chaotic fighting styles and unpredictable cursed techniques become significantly harder to analyse, reducing the technique's effectiveness.

Having died shortly before sunrise, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight steadily drains Eiichiro's cursed energy, weakening his strength, regeneration and the precision of Mushin.

Although rarely acknowledged...

Shizuka remains his greatest emotional weakness.

Should her life be placed in immediate danger, his normally flawless composure begins to fracture. His technique becomes less precise...

Yet his physical power grows frighteningly overwhelming.

Domain Expansion

Eternal Dojo (永遠道場 – Eien Dōjō)

An endless traditional dojo stretching beyond the horizon.

Within the Domain, Eiichiro becomes the Teacher, while his opponent becomes the Student.

Every mistake is corrected.

Every lesson is remembered.

The lesson ends only when...

The Student learns.

Or...

The Student falls.

As the Domain fades, Eiichiro quietly bows before saying,

"Class dismissed."

Shizuka Kurōbane (静 黒羽)

Age: 17

Height: 5'5"

Year: Second Year

School: Tokyo Jujutsu High

Sorcerer Grade: Grade 1

Personality

Quiet, gentle and remarkably perceptive, Shizuka often appears far older than her age. Although many initially find her intimidating, she's surprisingly kind, patient and deeply compassionate. She prefers listening over speaking, notices details others overlook, and believes death should be treated with dignity rather than fear.

She often comforts younger students with a cup of tea, quiet company or simply by being there. Beneath her calm exterior, she feels things deeply—she has simply long accepted that all things eventually come to an end.

Inherited Technique

Requiem (鎮魂術式 – Chinkon Jutsushiki)

A rare inherited technique passed down through the Kurōbane family.

Rather than overwhelming opponents with brute force, Requiem allows Shizuka to perceive the hidden "End Lines" woven through cursed energy, barriers, techniques and living beings. By striking these points with absolute precision—or preparing sacred rituals through blessed talismans—she can unravel cursed techniques, weaken barriers and peacefully exorcise curses.

Requiem rewards patience, preparation and composure over raw strength.

Weaknesses

Requiem places immense strain upon both Shizuka's body and mind. Overuse can cause migraines, blurred vision, nosebleeds and temporary blindness in her damaged eye. Powerful opponents possess constantly shifting End Lines, demanding near-perfect concentration.

Her emotions also influence the technique. Fear clouds her perception, grief causes hesitation, while complete inner calm allows Requiem to reach its full potential.

To preserve that calm, Shizuka fills her days with quiet rituals: making tea, reading, visiting shrines and walking beneath the moon. They are more than hobbies—they're how she maintains the peace Requiem demands.

Cursed Tool

Mugenbotan (夢幻牡丹 – "Dream Peony")

A ceremonial scythe passed down through the Kurōbane family. Though intimidating in appearance, it is wielded with remarkable gentleness, symbolising not death itself, but guiding all things toward their natural end.

I want our ocs to interact, become friends (or enemies), and I want excuses to draw them together.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) for everyone, Ash has three settings.

Human (5'6'') → Partial Wight (5'6") → True Wight (5'11").

He insists the extra height is "inconvenient."

[Knock knock.]

It's six a.m.

Ash answers the cabin door looking very confused.

"....Who are you?"

"...What'd you want?.."
