In the nights leading up to the show, the dress began to decharge, branching flashes of lightning spreaded across its surface as the lightning etched microscopic hollow channels through its three-dimensional structure. The fine detailing belonged not to the hand of the maker, but to lightning, exploring the thresholds between body, matter and energy. The lightning that autonomously finished the dress are temporary columns of plasma - the same state of matter found in lightning, stars, nebulae, the solar wind, and much of the visible universe.
