okay. the reason i think buddie canon is going to happen is i think buck is like oliver's best friend in the world who is not one of his dogs and he wants to represent buck in his fullness so he's pushing for all of the things we notice about him, the adhd, the bisexuality and inshallah the bpd. on the other hand. i think ryan blacks out and gets possessed by the real-life-in-this-world spirit of eddie diaz who is desperately trying to express himself in the world, and the more often ryan channels eddie, the more power eddie has to enact his will in the world. by kissing buck. who is oliver's best friend. and then SEPARATELY. i think oliver has a crush on ryan that he resents because he knows ryan is dumb because he's been kicked in the head 70 billion times which killed the brain cells that weren't gassed out of existence with abercrombie body spray. but also ryan is incredibly handsome and genuinely funny and treats oliver like he's not as deeply weird as he is. so oliver is closer to anirudh and john because they're intelligent hotties but he can't help but giggle at all of ryan's jokes which feeds into buck's bisexuality. ad infinitum.
