So I'm finally employed but my first paycheck isn't coming until the last Friday of the month and is only gonna be like $500, and the house is broke and running out of food too. Rent is $875 due on June 5 at the very latest. I am also going to get commission information posted as soon as I get the stitches taken out of my knuckle. Please help us make up the difference in the meantime

Hola, i'm Calli, a nonbinary mexican parent. Both my partner and I are chronically ill, we're the main providers for our family of 9, that includes his mom, dad and sister because they lost everything in a fire back in November 2023. TW for the house after the fire.

We are poor and unemployed, all adults have some chronic condition, chronic pain and we live constantly exposed to mold, rust and other issues the house has. The landlord does jackshit but sure comes to collect rent every now and then.

To top it off i have been getting harrassed by racist unkind people here, making me suicidal.

I have been offering spanish conversation classes online for $12 usd/hr. Right now im earning $12 a week, do you think I can support a family of 9 with that?

**I tracked down comments in notes ive made through the years, as far as 2016, I did all that even before this new tumblr update showing our comments so I did all that hard work for nothing lol, you can ask for links in my dm's this is already long enough as is.**

Our goal is to get our eldest's a couple of binders, his testosterone and medication he needs for a condition he needs a surgery for but we can't afford.

One of our team members got injured yesterday with shrapnel in his arms and hit his head from a car bombing in Gaza City

One of our bus drivers got hit with a metal rod on his head today because there was no space in the free bus we provide

When our team member went to the police station to report the bus incident, the station was full of boys from age 11 to 15 years old who were accused of stealing. Levels of desperation are high and the mental health of Palestinians in Gaza is extremely low from a genocide that surpassed the 2.5 years.

On top of all this, mutual aid groups are closing or significantly decreasing their distributions.

I really need a break of like $1000. Which is a fraction of what I saw some truly fucking dogshit people raising yesterday so I'm sick of feeling like it's unreasonable or impossible for me to afford fucking contact lenses so I can see my own fucking yard. (I'm blind even with glasses.)

ty prev and cosigned... i'm blocked by some of the biggest names in mutual aid posting for some verifiably very stupid reasons and others have been directly involved in harassment campaigns against my family and are thus blocked for our safety

some updates since this post is about a month old now

not quite sure how much money this has raised so far, checking is an entire ordeal because, stateless so my banking situation is a mess. it's for sure short of the $1000 goal I set but also remarkably better than the $300 average up to this point which is good because

my phone gave out entirely and I did have to replace it, also,

my landlord and i had a very unpleasant conversation in which she very forcefully tried to get me to explain my chronic health conditions and the nuances of my legal status to her in a language i barely speak,

(i don't even understand what my legal status is right now or if i even have one that's a whole other thing i have to sort out)

and if i could explain my health conditions well that would be one less thing in the way of treatment wouldnt it

and i was not able or frankly willing to do that so i am moving out at the end of june

and i was able to book the biggest travel expense well in advance (thus saving a lot of money for this-month me).

will this new situation be superior in terms of healthcare and education access? i think so but it's going to be expensive to set up at first because we don't have housing etc ready

A friend and mutual offered to help through comissions Friend is taking time off to finish commissions and rest

I'm adding my friend's comission sheet above with a picture the vet sent us with Kobeni, the anemic cat we took in our care who needs to get neutered and vet care. Also tracked down some interactions i've had throughout the years and a cropped screenshot of the email asking me to pay my healthcare monthly renewal before May 20th.

We are running out of food, our safe foods, medications for chronic ailments like insulin and more, i need to pay my healthcare before may 20th and we need to pay $1,000 of rent for april/may. And my partner caught a flu, he needs a doctor but we have no money.

Of course we need to get a testosterone shot before Thursday so our eldest can continue transitioning, we're also accepting help affording a binder or getting a second hand one.

EDITED may 25th: thank you so much we got enough to cover a lot of basics, I can't thank you enough, we had a long conversation here to decide if we would use it for rent or to get groceries, meds, afford water for all our needs and tend to our cats.

Scams are designed to trick someone into giving up money based on lies. This is just.. asking for information then legally enforcing the law??

I've made the decision to move to Minneapolis. My life for the past year has basically just been falling apart constantly with no break, and I need to get away from my parents to somewhere where I can set up a new life. However, my bank account is absolutely empty, and employment is hard to come by, so I need a lot of help.
