The name's Clone Fighter, and I'm... part of the SRB2 community, I'd say. (with things that are happening recently, can't say that I'm a proper fan atm, exactly-)

it's very funny to me that the advice in the notes divides cleanly into two camps:
Actually actionable advice (break it down into smaller pieces, leave and come back later, find somebody to do it with you so you aren't doing it alone)
People who are Jared, 19 and just say something that's fundamentally a variation on "just do it scared"
Warning: advice that "you have to leave your comfort zone to grow" is meant for people who are IN their comfort zone the majority of the time. If you rarely/never feel comfortable and safe, you actually need to get more comfortable and safe before you can grow 👍

(I've run this poll twice before, expanding it significantly for the second run. With about a year passed since that second run, I thought it was time to add another couple hundred names to the list and have another go.)
Catty's sermon is obviously a joke, but this could also be foreshadowing an actual truth about the prophecy: the heroes could have been anyone who fit the description of the heroes.
That is to say that the heroes aren't chosen from birth or anything, they become the heroes of the prophecy when the events of the prophecy begin. Susie only became the Girl in the prophecy when she fell into the Castle Town Dark World. Hypothetically, if Noelle went with Kris at the beginning of the game instead of Susie, she could've been the Girl instead with no complication. That said, I suspect the prophecy makes it clear the roles are consistently filled by the same people throughout, so you can't swap someone else in partway through as some have suggested. For example, while they both could've been the prince, you can't replace Ralsei with Lancer at this point, as Ralsei was already become the prince of the prophecy.
On that note, I think Ralsei may genuinely believe he was always meant to be the prince, but he thinks not because the prophecy says "Ralsei is the prince" but because he was raised from "birth" to become the prince. Alternatively, Ralsei is aware of the "fill in the blanks" nature of the prophecy's roles, but hasn't mentioned it yet as it wouldn't actually affect anything. I've said this before, but I think it's worth restating here that I suspect Carol was raising Noelle to be the Girl, and her disdain for Susie is at least partially motivated by her "stealing" the role.
I've actually had this idea since Chapter 4, mainly when speculating on possible reasons for Carol's personal disdain for Susie, but I don't think I ever voiced it until now. I guess I've already implied this idea back with my Cycle theory (and that theory does necessitate this being true), but I want to clear that this can function on its own even divorced from the idea of the prophecy being a cycle. So even if that's wrong, I'm willing to bet this idea is right. That said, I will admit I'm not sure what what meaningful implications this idea could have for the plot if it's true unless it's part of a bigger twist. (such as my aforementioned Cycle Theory or Truman Show Theory) I think it's a possibility we should keep in mind, at least.
One idea I have, though, is that Carol and Gaster may have had their own conflicting ideas of how the prophecy should manifest. I'll admit, I don't have any evidence for thinking this, this is firmly wild speculation territory. I've said this before too in the Truman Show Theory (in fact, I've also had this specific idea since Chapter 4), but it bears repeating here as it is relevant to this idea. Gaster may have wanted the Vessel, Susie (I'm less certain on her specifically, but I'm willing to believe it), and Ralsei to be the Cage, the Girl, and the Prince respectively, but something went wrong with the Vessel and Gaster compromised by having Kris be the Cage instead.
Carol may have wanted Kris, her daughter (at first Dess, then Noelle after whatever happened with Dess), and potentially Asriel to the Cage, the Girl, and the Prince respectively. I'm quite uncertain on Asriel counting for the Prince, but you could make an argument for it in an admittedly very roundabout way. Asgore says he and Kris are royalty because of the Festival King and Queen stuff, and Asriel would be the son of the police chief, so it could metaphorically count as a prince; it's very dubious, but it could work. Also, Asriel likely has horns, and Catty claims the prophecy mentions one of Heroes having horns at some point.
Maybe Carol was hoping the Prophecy would happen while Asriel was at Hometown, but it happened either too early or too late. Alternatively, Carol could've been okay with Ralsei being the prince. Regardless, her plans for Noelle was unknowingly sabotaged by Alphys sending Susie and Kris to the closet together. I want to restate, I have no firm evidence or reason to think this. This is just me ramblingly about my rampant speculation and I want to share it.
A potential defense in come aspects (note some chapter 5 spoilers)
This disaster of a post seems to be the result of two distinct events that compounded upon each other. Unfortunately the details can be challenging to suss out, so the following is a best effort explanation based on available evidence.
Event 1:
The initial post was published by @roach shortly before 4AM UTC [1]
A great many users received notifications that they had been tagged in it, but found no such tags present [2][3][4]
@roach edited the post several times over the next hour, two remaining version contain a block of usernames, followed by the string “mfc-ads” repeated 1,000 times [5][6]
A screenshot posted by @the-universe-at-large (current URL @bleary-eyed-blue) shows what may be the version of the post they had been tagged in, also containing a block of usernames [7]
Some users replies suggest that they originally reblogged a different version of the post than they are attached to now [8][9]
A possible reconstruction of events involves @roach repeatedly editing the post to add “batches” of user tags, before editing it again to remove them
Event 2:
That very same day, Tumblr began switching from the older “indentation” reblog format to the current “caption” style format [10]
@the-universe-at-large’s reblog (and others [12]) partially retained the “indentation” formatting despite the wider website’s migration [9]
When @high-saffron (now user @anthraxplus) reblogged @bleary-eyed-blue’s post [13], they noticed that @roach’s root post (in the new format) was re-inserted into the beginning of the chain every time there was a reblog, and did several times [13]
As duplicates accumulated in the top of the chain, the post seems to have more fully migrated to the new format some time before @lenasai’s reblog. However, some quirk in the process flattened the whole corrupted chain into a single post, which then had its authorship attributed to @lenasai, as the most recent contributor [14][15]
The @roach conga line continued to grow irregularly for some time, before settling on the 28 currently present

Yes, when the original post is deleted from the server (not just the blog, but the Tumblr servers), there is no root post for notes to be added onto, and also no root post for time to be counted from, so it starts from zero. Most computer operating systems use Unix, which was launched in 1971 with the epoch date of midnight on January 1, 1970 as 1. Therefore zero is one second behind that date: December 31, 1969. Also, very unfortunately, this also means nobody except you and anyone you reblog it to will see this explanation, as you cannot open the notes to see comments when there are no notes.
