the lock jammed on the front door of my shitty prewar apartment building so i just spent twenty minutes forcing it open while my very drunk neighbor sat on the steps nodding at my efforts and going “this is fun. being locked out together. we should hang out more”

And the utterly ironic thing is I’ve seen repeated tumblr posts of that iconic photo absolutely slagging the shit out of Peter Norman as “lol white guy so uncomfortable”   “Why the fuck isn’t he supporting them”, etc etc.

As an Australian this post surprised me. I knew none of the above.

32 years later, when the US Olympic Committee found out that Peter Norman wasn’t going to attend the Sydney Olympics, they flew him to Sydney to be part of their delegation - something that doesn’t exactly cover the Australian Olympic Committee or the Sydney Organising Committee in glory.

My friend Seb, (who has FO76 on PS4) was telling me about these two absolute jerks at Level 50 who cornerd him while he was being attacked by ghouls, so forcing him to trigger PvP and get killed by them, but then he said he saw them again, added them to his team, brought them to his really tall watchtower that he had built then went into workshop mode and removed the floor! He killed them!!!
