You exist as the stars exist...

I’m absolutely devastated by this news, and that’s not an exaggeration - I’m writing this from my bed, trying to blink back my tears. I adore Dolly as an artist, her incredible music and her phenomenal acting chops (9 to 5 was how I was introduced to her and is one of my favorite movies), but more to the point, I adored her.

She had one of the most beautiful souls to ever exist - she exuded joy, warmth, kindness, graciousness, and lifting others up through love. Her charity, her support of the LGBTQA community, her commitment to helping those in need…hers was a spirit that sparkled, with or without rhinestones. At the Brandi Carlile concert I attended this Sunday, she made a point to honor Dolly with a performance of “Coat of Many Colors”, asking us to send a little love to Dolly. Now it feels so bittersweet.

Dolly was beautiful, inside and out, and she made the world a more beautiful place, and unquestionably a better one. What an absolute blessing to live while she was with us. We’ll always love you, Dolly ✨🩷✨
