HSD problems #375:
Popped one of my hips in a weird spot. (Common issue.) Hip hurts, even though it's back in place.
Can't really walk, so called out to work. Couldn't sleep either because uncomfortable.
Sit in recliner to be pretzel of weird hypermobile comfort. Finally fall asleep.
Tip recliner over, smack head on wall. Now have bruises on face.
Hip STILL hurts. FML.
Update. Hip is still sore, but the rest has been somewhat taken care of by food and obscene amounts of caffeine.

As someone who was alive when Bob Ross (and William Alexander before him — that’s where the approach is from) was on PBS, I can 100% testify that you can paint along with him.
You may need to learn how to set up your paints and such… but this is what people did, live, while the show aired. That’s what the show was for. I had family members create lovely works of art they enjoyed, which I still have on my walls, because William Alexander and Bob Ross both said:
SCREW METICULOUS CLASSICAL ART PRACTICES — JUST GRAB A PALETTE KNIFE AND BIG OLD BRUSH AND PAINT!
They freed a whole generation of people who were taught to paint detail and realism and exact representation of reality — people who largely gave up this kind of thing because it got tedious.
I watched the joy of family members as they rediscovered art as a messy fun spontaneous half hour activity.

on another note, watched The Mummy (1999) the other day and I couldn’t help feel like the O’Connells and the Addams (Addams Family Values (1993) would get on really well ya know? I haven't played most of the new Broadsword era content, but I'm falling a little bit down the SWTOR rabbit hole again. It's familiar, and this year has been shit on shit for me. I have even been going through the old fics I had abandoned for various characters...
and I think it is top notch hilarious that I started writing Jadus vengeance years ago, only for him to appear in the game. I saw a screenshot the other day. Been laughing my ass off ever since.
Apparently I had played further along with my main agent than I thought. (Left off with the first Heta Kol flashpoint.) And with the more recent graphics update I'm pretty sure they updated Rivix's face so he looks more like a person. Are we doing this?
